* General Griffon's pilot nickname "Guile" is an obvious reference to ''Franchise/StreetFighter'' which is appropriate, given that most of the Generals in this timeline would have grown up in the 1980s and 90s.

* The American Sentry Drone's official in-universe nickname is Rottweiler, just like the eponymous combat drone from Creator/TomClancy's ''VideoGame/EndWar''.

* General Aleksandr's MBT, the Ogre, is based on the tank of the same name from ''VideoGame/EndWar''.

* The updated and upgraded version of the Marauder Tank now functions similarly to the Soviet Heavy Tank of ''[[VideoGame/CommandAndConquerRedAlert Red Alert 1]]''.
