''Solsidan'' (literal english translation: ''Sunny Side'') is a Swedish comedy series that takes place in the titular detached area in Saltsjöbaden, Stockholms län. The show follows the cast that includes the couple Alex and Anna Löfström as well as their wealthy friends Fredrik Schiller and his wife Mikaela "Mickan" Schiller, along with the very annoying neighbour and childhood friend Ove Sundberg and his equally annoying wife Anette.
The series as been going on since 2010 and revolves around each character and there tends to be a flaw (big or small) in each character that leads to a conflict for each episode when not done by [[NiceJobBreakingItHero genuine clumsyness or misunderstandings]]. Alex is a dentist and is very shy and almost too nice as he has a it very hard to decline people no matter how necessary it is. Anna is an actress who sometimes thinks too high of herself and can be too hard-handy at times. The childhood friend Fredrik is a stockbroker and is very wealthy and spoils both his wife and kids, and thinks that he is wiser than he is and thinks he can anwser anything. Mickan is Fredrik's beautiful wife and highly cares about her image and being the best among her friends. Ove is, as Alex once said, annoying and stingy and has a seriously odd personality in which he cant tell just how annoying others actually find him to be.
----
!!Solsidan provides examples of:
* BaitAndSwitch: Several times. One examples includes when Fredrik's 10-year-old son Viktor doesn't what to go to school one morning and says that it is because a teacher is disgusting. Fredrik is chocked and tells him it is very important that he tells him what it is that this teacher has done to him that is disgusting (assuming that it is a male). And Viktor merely replies that "She has a bad breath".
* GreyAndGrayMorality: No character is perfect, and each has a some flaw that tends to create problems, and they very often blame those same problems on others.
* GoldDigger: [[ZigZaggedTrope Zig-Zagged]] with Mickan. Alot relies on AlternativeCharacterInterpretation, and it is stated several times that she only married Fredrik for the financial security, but she actualy does expess genuine feelings of him in several episodes, as well as he for her. It is lampshaded by her own son Viktor in season 6.
