** The literature professors Fitz consults in the beginning to try to create a forensic linguistics profile. They spend an entire afternoon doing nothing but snark at the manifesto and each other (some even agree with Kaczynski's more politically incorrect proposals) supply absolutely nothing useful (the one professor who does try they ignore and shout down because she is a woman and she has to approach Fitz afterwards) and get a check at the FBI's expense.
