* BittersweetEnding: It's ''mostly'' sweet, but with a hint of bitterness. [[spoiler:The conflict has been resolved, both sides will continue to share Månetoppen, and there seems to be a lot more amicability and understanding between rødnisser and blånisser, Jentungen has earned her long cap and her family are no longer dismisses as rubbish by the other rødnisse families -- not to mention, Storm has found his birth family and the twins are reunited. But there is a slight sadness there too; while both his families end up on excellent terms with each other, and assure him that he shouldn't feel like he has to choose between them, he still can't help but feel slightly torn between them, even having to leave in the middle of celebrating Christmas with one family because he misses the other too much. Ultimately there is no easy solution; Storm can't stay with both families at the same time and will have to bear the burden of always missing the family he's not with at the moment.]]

* FantasticRacism: While the ancient law forbidding blånisser from allowing a rødnisse to enter the mountain is no longer in effect due to the events of Jul I Blåfjell, things still aren't all that friendly between blånisser and rødnisser, although a lot of it likely comes from the main conflict being how rødnissene took all the blueberries from Månetoppen, leaving blånissene with no way of creating blåtimen (the blue hour) every day of December like they normally do, as well as meaning they can't go outside. By the end of the series, it seems they're all getting along better than before.

* TemptingFate: Near the end of the song "Det Beste av Alt" (the best of everything) in which Storm [[spoiler: embraces the fact that he's both a rødnisse and a blånisse]], Storm confidently states that he can even stand on water now as he balances on a piece of wood floating into the sea, and at the end of the song boasts that he can do anything. As soon as the song ends, he falls into the water and has to be rescued.

-->'''Fjellfar:''' "Oh, yes. That's the cost for being so lucky to have a kid, that we always have to be scared of losing them."

''Jul På Månetoppen'' is a Norwegian julekalender that was produced and shown in 2002, and is a sequel to ''[[Series/AmaliesJul Amalie's Jul]]'' and ''[[Series/JulIBlafjell Jul I Blåfjell]]''.

A rødnisse named Jentungen is trying to do enough nissestreker and nissegleder to earn the long nisse cap during the ceremony on Månetoppen this year, while in Blåfjell, a blånisse named Storm makes a vow with his friend Myrtel to be the bravest ever. However, because rødnissene have picked all the blue berries from Månetoppen this year, blånissene don't have enough berries to produce blåtimen so blånissene can safely go outside.

This eventually leads to conflict between rødnissene og blånissene about who has the right to the berries on Månetoppen, and it might be up to Jentungen and Storm to find a way to end the conflict.
