''Aquarius'' is a 2015 {{Period|Piece}} PoliceProcedural series created by John [=McNamara=] that aired for two seasons on NBC from May 2015 to September 2016. Set in Los Angeles in 1967, the plot is [[InspiredBy inspired by]] real people and events, [[VeryLooselyBasedOnATrueStory but is told mostly through fictional characters and stories]]. The show was canceled by NBC in October 2016, after finishing its second season.

Soon after, Dennis Wilson kicks him and the Family out of his mansion in a particularly humiliating episode, and exactly which of these was the greater insult is not clear. Likewise, the series provides evidence both that the Tate murder was due to his hatred of Terry Melcher and desire to get revenge on him, or that it was to spark the race war he rambled about constantly.
