Once most the assassins are dispatched, Yor tells the assassin leader to walk away, but when she's knocked down by a katana-wielding assassin, she's offered a cut of the profits if she lets them kill the Gretchers, only for Yor to refuse, and gets ready to face off against the assassins. Meanwhile, Yuri gets sick while working a case, and as his captain nurses him, Yuri remembers Yor getting hurt while foraging in the forest near their childhood home when he got sick.

While Yor is hired as an assassin to protect a mob heiress, her "husband" Loid, and "daughter" Anya end up on the same cruise, the ''Princess Lorelei'', having won tickets in sweepstakes. Along the way, they encounter various assassins and wiretaps.
!Tropes present in the Great Cruise Adventure Arc:
* AffablyEvil: For a hit-man who's willing to kill a baby and his mother, the assassin ringleader is pretty friendly and laid-back. He makes it very clear that he doesn't want any infighting among the CarnivalOfKillers, pointing out there is plenty of award money for everybody. He also wants to keep the civilian causalities to a minimum, killing another assassin for daring to suggest that the group should kill every baby and mother on the cruise ship just to be sure they got their target. With that being said, when he finds out that the ''Princess Lorelei'' is set to explode, he still cuts his losses and abandons his supposed comrades, fleeing in a lifeboat to fight another day.
* ChronicBackstabbingDisorder: It's implied that Snoops was planning on turning on the other assassins even if their assassination had gone off as planned, as he had planted time bombs all over the ship without telling anyone else. When the leader of the assassins finds out about it and attempts to flee with him on Snoops' raft, Snoops pulls a gun on him.
* ConsummateProfessional: To the assassin ringleader, assassination is simply a job with a steady paycheck, one that he takes no unprofessional pleasure in, any more than a butcher would killing cattle for his daily bread. [[EvenEvilHasStandards Therefore, anyone who takes unnecessary sadistic joy in killing is a disgrace to the profession, and a mad dog that should be put down as quick as possible.]]
* MamaBear: Olka will do anything to protect her son Gram, including drastically changing her physical appearance and hiring assassins to protect them from a CarnivalOfKillers.
