*** [[PsychoPsychologist Dr. Judy Reyes]] is an immoral agent who will do anything to unlock the secrets of the brain for her own use. As the main antagonist of two of the game's routes, Reyes was an agent of DURPA sent to infiltrate Stratfor to gather the data of their brain experiments and the memory data of Amadeus, even helping Stratfor's unethical experiments. In her mission, Reyes sent her men to raid and threaten numerous key figures, including burning down Kurisu's home and trying to kidnap Maho and Kagari at gunpoint. Whenever her men fail, they commit suicide out of fear of what Reyes and DURPA [[YouHaveFailedMe would do to them]]. In "Twin Automata", Reyes tried to kidnap Hiyajo Maho and Alexis Leskinen to unlock Amadeus's memory data, and when Leskinen did so Reyes immediately executes him before threatening Maho for the access keys. In "The Promised Rinascimento", Reyes managed to kidnap Kagari and demanded [[Characters/SteinsGateRintaroOkabe Okabe]] to meet her, otherwise she'll kill her. During the meeting, Reyes reveals that she killed all the scientists working on the Amadeus and reveal [[ForScience her motivation]] was to unlock the secrets of memory implanting to create a series of deadly soldiers under DURPA's will before demanding Okabe to join her.

* ''[[VisualNovel/DokiDokiLiteratureClub Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!]]'': [[GreaterScopeVillain Paula Miner]], a worker in Metaverse Enterprise Solutions, is the project manager of the [=VM1=] simulator, and the [[JerkassGods creator]] of [[Characters/DokiDokiLiteratureClubMonika Monika]] and the Literature Club World. Creating the simulator, Paula gave Monika elevated awareness and studied her mental spiral, showing an acute LackOfEmpathy as Monika and the other sapient characters are placed in horrific torture, with Monika losing her sanity as she begins creating and destroying worlds while driving the other girls to mania and suicide in order to gain the player's love. When questioned about the morality, Paula simply bristles, [[WhatMeasureIsANonHuman not seeing Monika and the others as human despite their sapience]] and compares them to bacteria and animals as she encourages her team to find a way to convince the higher ups that it is beneficial to the company, and decides to move on with "Project Libitina" after dozens of resets to the universe.

* ''Franchise/{{Danganronpa}}'' franchise:
** [[Characters/DanganronpaJunkoEnoshima Junko Enoshima]] sates her obsession with despair by seeking to [[HopeCrusher crush hope]] in all of humanity. To this end, Junko uses her analytical abilities to sadistically and meticulously [[Anime/Danganronpa3TheEndOfHopesPeakHighSchool manipulate the students of Hope's Peak Academy]], leading her classmates to murder each other in droves; brainwashing many others as they witness the atrocity; kidnapping a kind-hearted teacher to brainwash her into following Junko's cruel plans; cruelly crushing anyone in her way, eventually leading to mass killings and suicides amongst students and even a global societal collapse. In the horrific dystopian new world, Junko continues to amuse herself by tormenting a group of Hope's Peak students after wiping their memories, forcing them into a "game" where they must betray and murder each other, broadcasting it to demoralize the population at large, even [[SiblingMurder killing her own sister]] on a whim. When discovered, Junko happily asserts her devotion to causing suffering and, when she fails to break the wills of her victims, spitefully kills herself to [[RedemptionRejection refuse their attempts to offer her redemption]], aroused even at the feeling of her own despair. Creating an ArtificialIntelligence and corrupting the already-unstable Warriors of Hope as her successors to continue her murder game even after her own death, Junko cements herself as a [[AxCrazy monstrous psychopath]], so warped [[NightmareFetishist the only thing she adored was misery]], be that others' or even her own.
** ''[[VisualNovel/DanganronpaV3KillingHarmony Killing Harmony]]'': [[BitchInSheepsClothing Tsumugi Shirogane]] is revealed to be the true mastermind of the Killing Game, who in actuality works for the corporation [[EvilInc Team Danganronpa]] and acts as their mole in the 53rd entry of Danganronpa. Acting as a CosplayOtakuGirl in the killing game who was usually [[ObfuscatingStupidity not the smartest]], it gets revealed that Tsumugi was the true culprit of the first trial, where she killed Rantaro Amami because Kaede Akamatsu's plan failed and wanted to ensure that the Killing Game continued, bending the rules of the game and [[AcquittedTooLate letting Kaede get executed because of it]]. Later in the last trial, Tsumugi tells the rest of the survivors about the true conditions of the world, in which the Killing Game is actually a [[SadisticGameShow game show]] called Danganronpa to entertain the uneventful and peaceful real world. Tsumugi would reveal that her company brainwashed every survivor with FalseMemories and rewrote their personalities so that they would truly act scared and helpless. Tsumugi is so obsessed with the Danganronpa franchise that when the audience watching the show were convinced by Shuichi Saihara to not want it anymore, Tsumugi would [[DrivenToSuicide let herself be killed]] alongside the studio so that she wouldn't exist in a world that doesn't want Danganronpa.

As the bad ending of Carl's route shows, he's even willing to murder his descendant's friends and burn the family mansion to the ground for these ends, leaving Carl a SoullessShell even after his soul is torn from the latter's body.

** The [[WouldHurtAChild unnamed "Staff Leader"]] of the [[OrphanageOfFear orphanage]] the young [[BigBad Miyo Takano]] was sent to is an ill-tempered authoritarian who [[DisproportionateRetribution punishes a boy for spilling his pen's ink by making him ingest it]]. When Takano and her friends make an escape attempt from his cruel establishment, he has her friend and the ringleader, Eriko, sent to the chicken coop to be pecked to death. Takano herself doesn't fare much better, as the head forces her to clean a filthy outhouse with her tongue. Though merely a flashback character, it was the orphanage head's horrific cruelties that [[BeingTorturedMakesYouEvil broke Takano]] into becoming the psychotic, villainous woman she is now.

* ''VisualNovel/PhantomOfInferno'': [[MadScientist Dr. Helmut von Giuseppe]], better known as [[BigBad Scythe Master]], is a sociopathic neuroscientist who brainwashes people he sees potential in to becoming the perfect assassins. Kidnapping one such individual, Reiji Azuma, Scythe erases his memories, renaming him Zwei and having another of his assassins, Ein, whose memory he also wiped, train him before sending the duo off on countless missions to kill enemies of his organization, Inferno. When Reiji and Ein escape from his clutches, Scythe turns to Reiji's young friend, Cal, [[TheCorrupter corrupting the young girl]] into hating Reiji and becoming his psychotic killer. Using Cal on many missions, Scythe even sends her after his own friend, who had sheltered him when he was framed for betraying Inferno. Deeming the three assassins prototypes, Scythe creates a new batch of emotionless killers and sends them after the trio, watching the combat with delight.

** [[BigBadFriend Yoko Fukunaga]], Ashino's descendant, is the true mastermind behind the Feast of Shadows and the return of the Curses of the Seven Mysteries of Honjo. Yoko [[AmbitionIsEvil ambitiously]] plans to return her family name back into prestige with the Rite of Resurrection to bring Ashino back. To this end, Yoko creates a death game of mutual slaughter with the Curses to gather the sacrifices for the Rite, bringing in deranged people like Nejima and Araishi to perpetuate kills before killing Hajime and Shogo Okiie, who were Seiman's descendants. Hiding in the shadows to watch the killings from afar, Yoko joins at the end to [[TheBadGuyWins kill Mio and Erio when they are close to the truth before using the Curses herself to gather the last sacrifices to finish the ritual]].

* ''VisualNovel/{{Demonbane}}'' gives us a nasty trio in a world inspired by the fiction of Creator/HPLovecraft:

* ''VisualNovel/ParanormasightTheSevenMysteriesOfHonjo'': [[WickedStepfather Kankichiro Iwai]] is the stepfather of Michiyo Shiraishi, and is the main cause behind both Yakko Sakazaki and Harue Shigima's stories. Originally a con artist, Iwai grew an admiration for [[SerialKiller Fumichika Nejima]], and when he was sent to prison, met the man himself and became enthralled at his tales of BlackMagic. Wanting to use this knowledge for fame and fortune, Iwai met Toshiko Shiraishi and became her common-law husband, only to show himself to be horribly abusive to both [[DomesticAbuse her]] and [[AbusiveParents her daughter Michiyo]]. Forcing Michiyo to kidnap the young Shuichi Shigima, Iwai taunts the police and Shuichi's mother by asking a ransom that he never intends to pay, then forces Toshiko to kill him as a sacrifice for his ritual, ruining both of their lives in the process, for no reason other than greed and a petty hatred of society.
