Cyber Group Studios is a French animation studio based in Paris and established on August 11, 2004 (as Cyber Group Animation) by former Euro Disney executives Pierre Sissmann, Dominique Bourse, Billy "Frédéric" Richard, and Olivier Lelardoux, and Cécilia Bossel.

Although a relatively new name on the French animation scene, they've quickly proven themselves to be a forced to be reckoned with in the European animation industry. They've made kids' cartoons for every age range, from {{Preschool Show}}s to tween cartoons, and in many genres, from wacky slapstick comedies to action-adventure shows.

Ludo Studio is a multi-award-winning Australian film and TV production studio based in Brisbane in the province of Queensland. It was established in 2012 by Daley Pearson and Charlie Aspinwall.

Ludo's greatest claim to fame is being the creators of the worldwide animated preschool hit ''WesternAnimation/{{Bluey}}''. However, they've also done quite a few other projects, both animated and live-action. In the former category, they have created ''WesternAnimation/TheStrangeChores'', as well as the animated shorts ''WesternAnimation/TheSketchyShow'' and ''WesternAnimation/{{Doodles}}''. In the live-action departments, they created such shows as ''Series/RobbieHood'', ''Series/SoulMates'', ''Series/{{Content}}'', and ''[=#7DaysLater=]''.

All of Ludo's creations are entirely produced under their own roof, with their animated shows are all done in UsefulNotes/ToonBoom. Most of their TV shows air on Creator/{{ABC}} in Australia, but a few of their animated works have gained international distribution, most prominently ''Bluey'' through Creator/DisneyJunior.

Birdo Studio is a Brazilian animation studio based in São Paulo. Considered the country's most prominent animation studio, they were established in 2005 by animators Luciana Eguti and Paulo Muppet.

Recognized worldwide for both their natively-produced cartoons and their commissioned work for other studios, they are probably best known for the original animated series they have done, notably several hit shows created by noted Brazilian animator Pedro Eboli like ''WesternAnimation/{{Oswaldo}}'' and ''WesternAnimation/CupcakeAndDinoGeneralServices''. You might also recognize them as the creators for the mascots of the 2016 Summer Olympics at Rio de Janeiro, Vinicius & Tom. They have also carried out production services on material for such big-name studios as ''Creator/WarnerBros and Creator/{{Disney}}, with even Riot Games' ''VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends'', one of the world's biggest video games, having commissioned work from them. They even helped with making a short film called "Parallel Connection" for famed Brazilian street artists OSGEMEOS, which was shown on Times Square during August 2015. Plenty of short films, music videos, and commercials have also been done under their name.

The show didn't last very long, running for only 1 season of 13 episodes between September 8 and December 22 of 1990. As a Canadian production, ''Little Rosey'' used Canadian actors for its cast (many of whom have starred in other Creator/{{Nelvana}} cartoons), with Rosey herself instead being voiced by actress and comedian Creator/KathleenLaskey (who would go on to appear in such Nelvana series as ''WesternAnimation/{{Wayside}}'' and ''WesternAnimation/GeorgeShrinks'').

However, on May 15, 1992, a primetime animated special called ''The Rosey and Buddy Show'' was aired on Creator/{{ABC}}. Also produced by Nelvana, this special saw Rosey and Buddy invade Cartoonland to fight ExecutiveMeddling's efforts to "change their show". Alongside having Creator/RoseanneBarr voice her younger animated self, the special also featured appearances by characters from other Nelvana-produced cartoons airing on ABC, namely WesternAnimation/{{Beetlejuice}} and some of the WesternAnimation/{{Care Bears|1980s}}.

''Majority Rules!'' is a Canadian children's comedy series created by Creator/EntertainmentOne that is notable for being the first-ever regular live-action program to be commissioned for the Canadian animation channel Creator/{{Teletoon}} (perhaps not coincidentally appearing around the same time, Teletoon's American counterpart Creator/CartoonNetwork was also becoming ''very'' interested in live-action programming).

[[caption-width-right:350:The ''Series/{{Roseanne}} spinoff you've never heard of.]]

At the end of the 80s and the beginning of the 90s, the famous UsefulNotes/{{Toronto}} animation studio Creator/{{Nelvana}} produced many hit animated series that are fondly remembered by plenty of Canadian and American children to this day: ''WesternAnimation/{{Babar}}'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Beetlejuice}}'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Rupert}}'', ''WesternAnimation/{{The Adventures of Tintin|1991}}''... But sandwiched between these acclaimed and beloved cartoons is one very obscure creation of the same studio known and remembered by only a very few people - and that was ''Little Rosey''.

''Little Rosey'' was a {{Celebrity Toon|s}} from 1990 based on the childhood of American actress and comedian Creator/RoseanneBarr, then best known for being the star of Creator/{{ABC}}'s 1988-1997 sitcom ''Series/{{Roseanne}}''. Created for ABC's SaturdayMorningCartoon lineup, ''Little Rosey'' told the story of the 8-year-old Roseanne (known to her friends and family as "Rosey") as she dealt with typical kids' challenges like spelling bees, family vacations, and grown-ups' rules alongside her friends Tess and Buddy using only their vivid imaginations. Also frequently appearing in Rosey's adventures were her parents and her younger sister Nonnie and baby brother Tater, as well as two antagonistic nerds named Jeffrey and Matthew who acted as her archnemeses.

[[quoteright:330:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/z_squad.jpg]]

''Z-Squad'' is a South Korean-Canadian AllCGICartoon co-produced between the South Korean studio Enemes and the world-famous Canadian studio Creator/{{Nelvana}}.

The show follows three ordinary preteen schoolgirls named Chaney, Haemi, and Jeanie who possess the power to transform into superheroines with help from three cuddly little aliens called the Zoots (individually named Zora, Zef, and Zuma). Together, these three girls must defend their world and that of the Zoots from a host of villains while also searching for the enchanted crystals that will grant them the power to both worlds.

The show originally aired in South Korea on SBS between December 2006 and June 2007 for a total of 26 episodes over a single season. Despite announcements that the show would air on Creator/{{YTV}} and Creator/{{Teletoon}} in Canada, as well as Creator/DisneyChannel in the United States, it instead made its English-language debut on Pop Girl in the UK and would not make its way to North America until it became available on Amazon Video and Tubi TV.

''WesternAnimation/{{Animism}}''
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/animism.jpg]]

Ah, the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, a little-known Canadian specialty channel that funds and airs television shows made by, for, and about Canada's First Nations (or Native Americans, as they're known by the Great White North's southern neighbor). The first national public television network by and for North American Indigenous peoples, the APTN does a wide variety of stuff: documentaries, news, dramas, specials, movies, sports, educational programs... and the subject of this page.

''Animism'' is an '''extremely''' obscure Canadian animated series produced for APTN's KidsBlock by the Vancouver media company Zeroes 2 Heroes that mixes First Nations mythology with UrbanFantasy. It tells the story of Melody "Mel" Ravensfall, a 17-year-old girl from Grind City who has joined the environmental activists of Grind City University in fighting off the efforts by the powerful development company Grind City Futures (headed by Chad Peterson) to build over The Gods' Lake. However, her life is changed when an attack by Mel and her friends Duane, Erin, and Nico, on Grind City Futures goes wrong and a mysterious elk-like being named Wapiti appears to rescue her from Chad.

Mel soon learns from Wapiti that her efforts to save The Gods' Lake is in fact just the smallest skirmish in a vast cosmic conflict between three supernatural siblings called The Trickster, The Mother, and The Wetiko. For countless millennia, these great spirits have controlled the cycles of the world, each one being overthrown by the other two joining forces to usher in a new age. However, Wetiko, the one currently in charge, has grown far too powerful for Mother to replace, thus threatening Earth's balance and its future. In order to restore the natural order to its rightful form, the emissaries of Mother and Trickster must join forces, and Wapiti, emissary of Mother, reveals to Mel that she is the current emissary of Trickster, carrying the mysterious ancestral powers needed for her mission - and what's more, Chad is in fact the emissary of Wetiko himself.

Now tasked with dealing with a conflict far larger than what she initially understood, Mel and her friends, as well as Wapiti, face off against Chad, his corporation, and his secret master in a battle to bring the world and its cosmic zeitgeist to its rightful form. But even as the struggle to save Gods' Lake continues under their broader conflict, a terrible secret and an enormous power for good hides beneath the surface of The Gods' Lake, one that has the potential to change everything.

''Animism'' was released in 2013 for a single 6-episode season titled ''Animism: The Gods' Lake'', but it was actually preceded by an alternate reality game called ''Animism: The Sacred Sites'' in the summer of 2010 to promote the series' development and eventual release. While the series gives the fundamental plot by itself, there is also an online adventure game, a graphic novel, and some short stories designed to tell more of the full story in a transmedia fashion or as standalone adventures. A second season called ''Animism: Titan Falls'' was announced to be in development, but that was back in 2014 and nothing has come out since.

''The Mole Sisters'' ''Doomsday Brothers'' (or ''Les Frères Apocalypse'') is an adult-oriented cartoon from French-speaking Canada produced by the Montreal-based studio N12 Productions and Toronto's Creator/PortfolioEntertainment.

The show is about two brothers named Rafe and Gabe Burns, dysfunctional survivalists living AfterTheEnd, where mutants and other monstrosities run rampant. The two have found
a life in the brutal apocalyptic wastelands as the defenders of a rural town where the few survivors have been mutated into hideous radioactive freaks. Together, Rafe and Gabe, as well as the quirky and frequently unhinged townspeople, navigate life in their dangerous world. However, unbeknownst to the brothers, their mother Judith has also survived doomsday, and is now trapped in a top-secret superpowered bunker alongside a malevolent A.I. known as AENUS. While Judith tries to find a way out of the bunker and find out what caused the apocalypse in the first place, Rafe and Gabe are seeking out the very bunker, for it could potentially save them and all the other survivors.

The show debuted in September 17, 2020 on Creator/TeletoonAtNight's French counterpart Télétoon la nuit (which still continues to run even after its Anglophone counterpart's shutdown in 2019) in Francophone Canada and then came to English-speaking Canada on the

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_animated_adventures_of_bob_and_doug_mckenzie.jpg]]

''Series/{{SCTV}}'' is remembered for a lot of things - being one of the most iconic and influential Canadian TV series of all time, being the starting point for some of Hollywood's most beloved Canada-born actors and comedians, and for being one of the few Canadian TV shows to have been successful on American TV, among other things. When the show moved from Creator/GlobalTelevisionNetwork to Creator/{{CBC}} for its third season in 1980, two of its most iconic characters were born: Bob and Doug [=McKenzie=], a pair of none-too-bright, booze-loving, toque-wearing, and overall extremely stereotypical Canadians played by Creator/RickMoranis and Creator/DaveThomas respectively. These brothers starred in their own little segment, a spoof of panel shows and Canadian Content laws titled "Great White North" (or "Kanadian Korner"), where they commentated on all things quintessentially Canadian while also saying "Eh" a lot and calling each other "hosers". The two ended up becoming pop culture phenomena in both Canada and the United States and mainstays of ''SCTV'''s run, so it should come as no surprise to some that in 2009, the [=McKenzie=] brothers were brought back for their very own cartoon series.

''Bob & Doug'' (or ''The Animated Adventures of Bob & Doug [=McKenzie=]'') is a Canadian animated sitcom produced for Creator/GlobalTelevisionNetwork that brings back Bob and Doug [=McKenzie=] for a new era of television. The brothers are now a pair of garbage collectors living in the town of Maple Lake, a tiny little place located at the US-Canada border just across from the crime and porn-ridden American metropolis of JFK City. As expected, the two get into various misadventures that frequently involve their fellow townspeople.

The series was produced by Animax Entertainment, which was established by Dave Thomas, who reprised Doug [=McKenzie=] for the series. Unfortunately, Rick Moranis did not return to voice Bob, who was in his period of semi-retirement at the time, although he did hop on board as an executive producer alongside Thomas. Instead, American actor and comedian Creator/DaveCoulier took on the role of Bob for the show. Various miscellaneous Canadian actors, including several prominent Toronto-based voice actors, took on the other roles.

The show didn't last particularly long however, running for only 15 episodes, with 5 of them barely seeing any airtime on Global, who had decided to cut the show's run short after initially ordering 22 episodes. And unlike with ''SCTV'', efforts to get the show on American airwaves were unsuccessful, with Creator/{{Fox}} backing out of initial plans to fund the series alongside Global very early on.

* AmbiguouslyBrown: Lavender has olive skin, but her ethnicity is never specified.
* AnimalEaredHeadband: Hazel wears a hat with cat ears.
* AnthropomorphicFood: The titular character of "The Gingerbread Boy", who is trying to not be eaten.
* BandEpisode: In "Cluck Stars", the Charmers create a band called Rainbow Sparkle to enter the talent show, but their magic causes them to cluck like chickens.
* BeehiveHairdo: In "Hairy Ways", Posie sports a beehive as tall as her body, though she's constantly struggling to keep her balance throughout the episode while trying not to fall over.
* BewitchedAmphibians: "Prince Not So Charming" has the Charmers finding a prince that used to be a frog, and they have to get him to stay a human forever.
* CatsAreSnarkers: Seven is the most phlegmatic of all the pets, not liking corny moments or songs.
* ClipShow: It has several episodes like "Magic of Charmville" which is 95% clips. It gets especially weird when they air this prior to some of the episodes the clips are from.
* CuteKitten: Seven may be a snarker, but he still is a cute and caring cat.
* CuteWitch: Hazel, Lavender, and Posie are adorable young mages.
* DanceSensation: "A Charming Fad" features a dance craze called the Goblin Gallop. The characters are invited to a flash mob to do that dance, but Posie would rather do her own thing.
* DelightfulDragon: Lavender's familiar Flare is a playful little dragon.
* DumbBlonde: Posie, who is blonde, is easily distracted.
* {{Familiar}}: Each of the Charmers have magical pets. Hazel has a cat named Seven, Lavender has a dragon named Flare, and Posie has an owl named Treble.
* TheFashionista: Lavender is a Potionista, which means she is talented with potions and fashion.
* FloralThemeNaming: Hazel is named after the hazel tree, and Posie and Lavender are named after flowers. Additionally, Posie has siblings also named after plants, Parsley and Thistle.
* FreakyFridayFlip: In "Switcheroo", Hazel accidentally switches bodies with her mom. The intent was for her mom to become a kid so she can have a day off.
* FlyingBroomstick: All of the Charmers use broomsticks to fly. These broomsticks seemingly have a mind of their own.
* HiccupHijinks: The series has an interesting take on this with "The Switch Ups". It starts with Hazel getting the hiccups, and she tries getting her friends' help to stop them. She eventually tries a magical spell, but she hiccups during it, and gets the switch ups (where people switch forms with each hiccup). It spreads to her friends. They're eventually cured thanks to Hazel's dad scaring them with a monster mask. Then he gets hiccups.
* IneptMage: The main three, especially Hazel, are still learning magic and more often than not, cause problems with it.
* MagicMusic: Posie is a 'spellerina', which means she can play music to create magic. Her wand also functions as a flute.
* MeaningfulName:
** Flare's name has a double meaning; a sudden brief burst of a flame (because she's a fire-breathing dragon) and it is a homophone to flair, which means stylish, perfect for the pet of a fashionista.
** Treble's name means a high music note, corresponding to Posie having MagicMusic.
** Seven, as in 'lucky number seven' and the seven stripes on his body.
* PersonAsVerb: Hazel becomes so infamous for her magical mishaps, that 'Hazeled' became a verb meaning just that.
* {{Premiseville}}: The characters live at Charmville.
* SmartAnimalAverageHuman: Seven is much smarter than Hazel. He tries to warn Hazel about not causing trouble, which she does not listen to.
* TheSmartGirl: Besides fashion, Lavender also loves science and is generally the most sensible of the trio.
* TrendAesop: In "A Charming Fad", Posie doesn't want to do the Goblin Gallop and would rather do her own dance, but Hazel and Lavender try to have her learn anyways. Hazel charms her socks to learn that dance, but things go awry and Posie is only set free when she does her own dance, the Posie Pop. Everyone learns that you don't have to go along with the latest fad, and it's okay to do your own thing.
* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Hazel has pink hair and Lavender has purple hair.
* YouMeanXmas: Valentine's Day is called "Charmy Hearts Day".

* MeaningfulName:
