* AllTheWorldsAreAStage: Some important places from Nintendo games appear on LI, however many of them are filled with Starvia or are abandoned.

* HeartBeatDown: Princess Peach plays this straight, using magical pink hearts in a similar fashion to the way many characters use explosions. Often times, if an approach to attacking an enemy isn't working in her favor, Peach will add hearts to the equation.

** Not much smiling from him, but Schezo puts up an unflappable front to hide his startlingly severe abandonment issues. To put some perspective, he's doomed to outlive his family, old classmates, and many others when he became the Dark Wizard at age 14. His current age? 180.

* BadassAdorable: Child/young characters such as Rider, Cream, Little Arle and more are this.

** Please, for the love of anything that is holy, do NOT hurt Rider, whether be it physically or emotionally...unless you want a very angry Amitie mopping the floor with you.

** Rider doesn't like to be called an 'imp'.

There's also the Life Sphere itself, with the fact that it also houses criminals, people worried that the shield that keeps the Starvia from getting in breaking and the fact that the defense system is being handled by Eggman, Bowser, and King K Rool...Who are currently having a war about who officially gets control of said system!

''Super Smash Brothers Life Itself'' is a PlayByPostGames created by Shadow EX and takes place 10 years after the Subspace Emissary, it has been running for six years and it's still a very strong site!

It has been ten years since the events of VideoGame/TheSubspaceEmissary from Super Smash Brothers Brawl, all those wacky Nintendo characters are now living in peace and harmony after defeating Tabuu and resuming their respectful adventures in their universes...Nothing could have possibly gone wrong...

Due to a mysterious blast wave, every Nintendo character soon ended up on a mysterious planet called LI. However that wasn't the worst part of it, Shadow Bugs are also on this planet, infecting everyone and turning them into zombie like monsters, this virus is known as the Starvia and it forces the residents into a shelter known as the Life Sphere, which is exactly what it means, a sphere that has clean air unlike the rest of LI which is filled with toxic air that only the shadow bugs and people infected with Starvia could enjoy.

[[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Mario]], Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog and [[Franchise/{{Metroid}} Samus Aran]] run the sphere along with [[VideoGame/LuigisMansion Professor Egadd]] as a substitute, Mario and Sonic are fighting over plans on what to do with LI, Mario wants to destroy the Essence Extraction Point, the most dangerous place in LI which is the source of the Starvia, however Sonic just wants to [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere go on a ship and escape the planet]]...Samus is neutral on the matter.

While the plumber and the hedgehog bicker with each, other characters often go out of the Life Sphere to do missions to improve the sphere's condition, and there is where most of the action takes place as everyone struggles to survive in this new dangerous world...

* TheChainsOfCommanding: Like the Pokemon Trainer from brawl, most trainers stand by the sidelines and command up to three of their Pokemon in battle, sometimes they do things but for most of the battles in missions the trainers don't do much otherwise...Characters from the Mega Man Universe also stand by sometimes and command.

There are also times where characters get mortally wounded (Although only two characters so far [[spoiler: Lyndis and Omega]] are currently in a comatose state and no characters so far are KilledOffForReal...[[spoiler:yet.]])

Recently: A Gang War in the Life Sphere is happening between Bowser, Doctor Eggman and King K Rool on how to handle the Life Spheres defence after an incident in which Black Shadow (Who seems to be one of the few people who can control the Starvia) Kidnapped Mario, Sonic, and Samus, although Mario and Sonic were rescued, Samus was still captured and the two leaders are acting odd lately...Another important event was the two, along with Egadd going to the Essence Extraction Point to try to save Samus...By themselves, fortunately, another group is going in there to find the four...Both events are currently on hold.

* AssKicksYou: Princess Peach frequently invokes this trope, as if that's any surprise. Princess Daisy has also been known to invoke it, on ocassion.

* MustMakeAmends: In the past, Schezo once tried to take Arle's power, even going as far as to kill her to do so. After a drawing a line with a joke about Arle being curry-scented, followed by comparing Schezo's pursuits to Satan's (read: he ''despises'' him), he reconsidered his goals entirely and wished to reform relations with her. Luckily for him, she held nothing against him.

The trio managed to find Death Adder and fight him, although the knight proved to be a worthy fighter, The three almost managed to defeat him...Until Death Adder quickly captured Gilius and disappeared...However before he did he fired a powerful blast towards Lyn and Pac, although Pac managed to get out of the blast radius...Lyn was not as lucky.

** [[http://ssblifeitself.com/thread/1194/crossfire Crossfire!]]: The Second Group (Adell, A.I.M, Paula, Dark Pit, Ragna, [[spoiler: MC Ballyhoo and Big Top]]) Wait outside the lair and wait for the first group to call on them should they get attacked, however white hands soon appear and take Paula, Dark Pit and Ragna underground to a secret cave where there attacked by a horde of Starvia creatures, Adell, and A.I.M meanwhile get taken to Black Shadows Lair as prisoners, the three managed to escape the horde and get back to the vehicle they were assigned with [[spoiler: MC and Big Top]] still inside.
