Ryuichi Fuwa and Aileen Rao are guarding Sugoroku and Honda, and to free them they'll have to win a game. Aileen and Jonouchi are given battle armor, and Ryuichi and Miho control them with a console. The first team to run out of energy loses. Aileen beats Jonouchi up relentlessly, while Miho flounders at the controls.
Ryou makes it back in time to catch the start of the match, but his eyes have gone glassy and blank. Yugi summons Winged Dragon Guardian of the Fortress, while Kaiba summons Cyclops. Yugi destroys it, and when Kaiba summons the Wicked Worm Beast that's destroyed too. Kaiba then uses a magic card combo to make Saggi the Dark Clown really strong. Anzu cheers Yugi on, Ryou looks increasingly sinister, and Jonouchi is still getting beat up.

Meanwhile, Jonouchi and Aileen are having a more even fight until Miho makes him do a spinning kick move that stuns Aileen, but drains the suit's power so his body can't move. Meanwhile, Jonouchi takes a final uppercut and loses to Aileen, but remembering his friends helps him stand up and rejuvenates his energy. He charges her as Yugi draws the final piece of Exodia. Yami prepares to summon Exodia, while Kaiba freaks out. Jonouchi spin-kicks Aileen, defeating her, while at the same time Yami Yugi summons Exodia. Exodia pushes against the dragons with one hand and they disappear. Kaiba loses.
Yami gives Kaiba a Mind Crush so he can rid his heart of darkness, explains to Mokuba what it does, and then leaves. His friends arrive, weary, but safe... except for Ryou Bakura. Yami Bakura emerges for the first time, impressed with how Yugi beat Kaiba, and decides he's a worthy opponent...
