Yuya's battle with The Sledgehammer continues with the new mysterious Pendulum Cards that have appeared in his deck. Surprisingly to everyone, there's no error in the system, despite these cards coming from nowhere, so the duel is allowed to proceed. To everyone's shock, Yuya actually beats Strong, stunning the world.

Yuya becomes the talk of the town and kids flock to the You Show Duel School to sign up and see the mysterious Pendulum cards again. Yuya battles Zuzu in an exhibition match, but because he doesn't fully understand the new Pendulum card yet, he botches his summon and loses. The kids leave, presuming Yuya is a hack and a cheater, but one kid, Tate, stays and signs up as a new student.

Meanwhile, a mysterious figure at the Leo Corporation watches the duel and takes an interest in Yuya and his new cards.
