** Homer tells Marge that he only keeps his [[IReadItForTheArticles Playdude magazines for the stories]]. Marge cuts off all pictures of women and Homer throws away what's left of the magazines.

** While Agnes entry wasn't sabotaged by Marge, she still receives it by being disqualified for not leaving her entry in time by mere seconds after Marge entered the room.

* MadnessMantra: "Blood for cream" especially at the end of the ImagineSpot where Homer seems too into it despite being his blood targeted.

* NowYouTellMe: Homer says this when Marge tells him that he used too much plaster on the kitchen ceiling. Marge counters that she ''never stopped'' telling him.

* {{Hypocrite}}: Lisa is disgusted with Marge for sabotaging the other contestants' entries, but she never did anything when the other contestants sabotaged Marge's entries earlier on.

* BrokenAesop: The moral of the story is summed up as "don't cheat", but it falls apart because a) Marge only cheated because of the horrible way all the other contestants were treating her, with one of them ''destroying her meal and mocking her over it'', and not because she was insecure about her cooking abilities or something similar, and b) Lisa is appalled when she learns that Marge had cheated in the contest, but not only did she not call out the contestants who were blatantly trying to sabotage Marge, she didn't do anything to stop them ''even though she witnessed their behaviour first handedly''. All of this makes Marge look like she has an actual reason for cheating, and also makes Lisa comes off as a huge {{Hypocrite}}.

* MultipleGunshotDeath: In the parody of the toolbooth scene from ''Film/TheGodfather'', James Caan gets it again. In fact, he has a "[[HereWeGoAgain/where have I been involved with this before]]" look in his eye as he is dropping his change in the toll bin. "That's it! Next time, I fly," he moans after being shot 60-plus times. (At least this time, he suffered far fewer wounds than in the movie; he was shot at least seven times more in 1972.)

* LaserGuidedKarma: Marge felt that she was doing this when she sabotaged the other entries. She even said WhosLaughingNow while doing so.

* {{Hypocrite}}: Lisa is disgusted with Marge for sabotaging the other contestants' entries, but she never did anything after she witnessed the other contestants sabotaging Marge's entries earlier on [[DoubleStandard nor calls them out on it]].

** When Marge is going through the rundown kitchen, first a cupboard door breaks off, then the bottom of a drawer caves in, then when Marge opens the refrigerator...[[TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers the back of her dress rips]].
** When Marge receives a letter from the bake-off, it at first sounds like a rejection letter...but then it's revealed that Marge was accepted.

* KickTheSonOfABitch: Marge sabotaging the entries of the other contestants. It's hard to have any sympathy for them given that they were trying to sabotage Marge [[EvilIsPetty because they saw her entry as a threat]].

* KickTheDog: The contestants treatment of Marge is this. One of them even ''destroys'' her entry, making her cry and forcing her to start all over again.

* AffablyEvil / {{Jerkass}}: ''All'' the contestants (except one) towards Marge. They all act rude and try to ruin her entry because they all see her as a legitimate threat to their entries. It was good for her she got them back, but she was crossing it when trying to sabotage the final contestant.

* HonorBeforeReason: Lisa as usual. She calls out Marge for sabotaging the other food entries despite witnessing all the other contestants blatantly trying to sabotage Marge all throughout the contest beforehand.
