** Subverted. After learning that he gave Homer weeks of electroshock for nothing, Dr. Hibbert tried to invoke this by saying that Marge already agreed not to sue him when he validated her parking. When Marge pointed out that he hadn't punched a hole in her parking slip, he immediately did so. [[LaserGuidedKarma Fortunately, Homer didn't let him get away]].

** The bartender had an eyepatch on the eye that saw Ray [[note]] FridgeLogic here: Just because the bartender had an eyepatch (which when we see Homer & Ray's meeting from his POV, has Ray obscured by a black hole in the middle of his field of view - obviously, if you have your eye covered, that doesn't happen), doesn't mean that the bartender couldn't hear Ray, see him if he moved or turned his head to the left, and had to have poured the pitcher of beer Ray shares with Homer, so him thinking Homer was alone doesn't make sense.
