When we get to meet him, he's shown to have the image of a powerful ape, but immediately it turns out he also loves to have fun and shares his sons' philosophy in "to live is to laugh" (without a doubt he's the one who taught them that). His idea of a peace message is revealed to be dumping snow onto others' heads.
