* AnimalMotifs: Lobanov's [[TheBully joke]] after which Levin finally snaps is picture of deer with [[EmbarrassingNickname Levin's]] photo attached in place of its head.
* {{Blackmail}}: If Kysegach would not break up with Bykov and fire him Romanenko would leave internship and would move to his father. He gives her one hour to think this out.
* CigaretteOfAnxiety: Kysegach is so worried about Gleb, she started smoking in attempt to calm down. Bykov (unsuccessfully) tried to make her stop.
* DudeNotFunny: When Kysegach worries about her son, and say what he could possible harmed himself, Bykov makes tasteless "joke" about him "also" counting on it. Kysegach is not amused, but too worried to press it further.
* NonVerbalMiscommunication: Varya's patient does not flirt with her ([[MistakenForGay or Lobanov]]), he is constantly blinking because of his nervous tic. Unfortunately, Varya is not aware of this, and instead of treating him, shouts on him and leaves. Bykov then explains to Varya where she failed, and forces to go and apology.
* NotWhatItLooksLike: Varya's patient has nervous tic, forcing him to constantly blinking. This makes him look like he is flirting with everybody. Including [[MistakenForGay Lobanov]].
* ParentalSexualitySquick: Gleb is extremely squeaked about his mother relationship with Bykov, and uncertain how to live farther with this. Unfortunately, he decided to deal with situating by ruining their relationship in most [[{{Jerkass}} mean]] way possible.
* SoUnfunnyItsFunny: Lobanov's attempt to play clown for sick kid completely fails. He somehow even more pathetic in this role than he is in role of Doctor. Levin actually used this to pay revenge on Lobanov, by inviting other people to see this and laugh on Lobanov's humiliation. Since this is supposed to be actual birthday present for said kid, Levin then [[PetTheDog goes inside and helps Lobanov to salvage seemingly failed situation and cheer up poor kid]].
* {{Troll}}: Gleb's "revenge" on Bykov and Kysegach involves over-joyful ([[StepfordSmiler to the point of looking maniacal]]) behaviour near them, including calling Bykov "papa" and constantly bothering them about wedding. He also threatens to tell everyone in the hospital about this. After Kysegach angrily tell him to stop this, he proceeds to outright blackmail them.
* WeWantOurJerkBack: No one, except for Romanenko, is happy with Bykov being replaced by new mentor. Lobanov instantly guesses what it is Gleb's fault and [[WhatTheHellHero confronts him about this]].
* WhatTheHellHero: When Lobanov guessed it was Gleb's fault what Bykov would leave them, he confronts him and reminds him how much they owe him. He also tells Gleb what Kysegach and Bykov can deal with their life whatever they want, and Gleb has no right to ruin everything just because he doesn't like Bykov. After this, Gleb goes to Kysegach and takes back his threats and demands... but he still insist what Kysegach must break with Bykov.
