* IdiotPlot: Possibly the worst example in the series. Cisco creates a bleeding-edge techno suit for Barry. The team, including [[GuestStarPartyMember special guest hero Gypsy]] -- figure out they're confronting a villainous {{Technopath}}. And the ''entire'' team, including usual VoiceOfReason Joe, is present as Barry gets ready to confront said villain, ''while wearing his new techno-suit.'' Not ''one'' of them thinks to suggest a change of clothes might be in order.

* MurphysLaw: The ''first'' enemy Barry faces with his new teched-out suit is a {{Technopath}}.

* LudicrousGibs: Implied with Kilg%re's elevator victim.

* RealityEnsues: Though the two still love each other dearly, Barry and Iris were forced apart by rather traumatic circumstances for over 6 months and they simply can't just ignore this fact will have some serious repercussions, Iris acknowledges this, Barry however doesn't want to at first.

* BetrayalInsurance: Cisco has put a Babel code in the suit, which is a bomb that will kill Barry and was put there in the case he becomes evil like Savitar. Like his previous idea with the Cold Gun, it endangers Barry against the villain.

** Barry notes that Kilg%re was in Silicon Valley when the Particle Accelerator went off; Deathbolt from Season One also got his powers while being away from Central City, oddly he isn't mentioned.

** While in Couples Therapy together, Iris mentions that both she and Barry have lost many friends, listing off Eddie, Ronnie, Francine, H.R., Laurel and Snart as examples.

* CrazyPrepared: Deconstructed. All of the helpful gadgets that Cisco put in the suit ended being used against him.

** To override the suits technology, Iris suggests Barry throw a lightning bolt at himself. Though both Caitlin and Cisco point out the risks of her idea, she points out they're running out of time.

* LaserGuidedKarma: After Barry does things like finishing the wedding plans and canceling a training session without consulting Iris, she gets back at him by booking them for couples therapy.

* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Cisco loaded Barry's suit with technology, which nearly gets him killed when going up against a technopathic villain.

* OhCrap: Said by Cisco when he realizes that Barry is fighting a technopath, will all these fancy gadgets in his new suit.

** The new Flash suit could fire very ''Film/IronMan''-like concussion blasts from the hands.
* SmugSuper: Barry is rather full of himself and nearly getting someone killed due to his cockiness as well as risking his relationship with Iris. He gets better.

* TooDumbToLive: The woman on Kilg%re's revenge list. Metahumans have been a thing for years now, one of her colleagues shows up to warn her that Kilg%re's [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge out for revenge]], and what does she do when he breaks into her house? Starts mouthing off to him. She only survives because Wally and Joe expected him to do that.

** At least that's what Cisco wants to believe in regards to Gypsy yet Caitlin warns him to the contrary.

* EurekaMoment: To override the suits technology, Iris suggests Barry throw a lightning bolt at himself. Though both Caitlin and Cisco point out the risks of her idea, she points out they're running out of time.

* IdiotPlot: As noted, Cisco has made a new Flash suit with lots of cool, neat tech. The team learns they're battling a techno-path. They spend most of the entire episode coming up with a plan and a weapon to defeat the techno-path. Then the entire band of experienced crime-fighters and meta-trackers -- Cisco himself, Caitlin, Wally, Gypsy, ''Joe'' (as noted below, usually the Sane Man) [[MyFriendsAndZoidberg and Iris]] send Barry off to fight the meta who controls cyber-tech, with Barry ''wearing the cyber-enhanced suit.''
