Also, Gabriel tells Philip the Centre is worried about him, and that Philip's father, instead of being a logger like he always thought, was actually a prison camp guard. Stan and Aderholt finally have luck with approaching Russians outside the Rezidentura when they meet up with Sofia Kovalenko (Darya Ekamasova), who works for TASS, the Soviet news agency, in D.C. While she says she can't talk, she at least takes the business card Stan offers her. Meanwhile, Oleg and Rusian arrest a man involved in the corruption of the food industry, and leave him in jail when he refuses to tell them who else is involved. Oleg also burns the tape that "Stan" sent him when no one meets him again.

Elsewhere, Mischa gets back home to the Soviet Union (and Claudia assures Gabriel he'll get his old job back there), Evgheniya is now working as a Russian translator for the State Department, and Henry continues to do well in math.
