Thanks to an age reversing spell cast by the Ball Balancer, Chibi-Usa accomplishes her dream of becoming a true adult. But this gets her in trouble with Pegasus who wants to leave her because she "lost her way". So Chibs has to go back to the Dream World and confront the boy with the long face.

* AnthropomorphicFood: Palla Palla summons Pero Pero, a Lemure who starts out as a giant ball of candy that multiplies with every attack she sustains.
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: Both Moon and Chibi Moon complain to each other that they wish to be a kid and adult respectively. Palla Palla grants them their wish but at the cost of no longer being able to summon Pegasus.

* DreamLand: Along with greeting his holder in an enchanted forest, Pegasus takes the pink haired maiden to see Elysium, a magical place that is run by the dreams of humans. But unfortunately, Elysium has turned into a place of ruin and despair after the Dead Moon Circus attacked them in the hunt for the Golden Crystal.
* DreamSequence: Not-so-Chibi-Usa dreams of making her way through the city before reaching the enchanted forest to meet the horse that refused to see her earlier.
* EverybodyDiesEnding: Palla Palla's puppet show ending with all the characters, including the evil sorcerer. The Cloverway Dub downplays it with only the villain dying.
* FountainOfYouth: Palla Palla's magic allows her to turn Usagi into a child again and Chibi-Usa into a Tall Lady.
* FriendOrIdolDecision: The pink haired maiden learns that because her dream of being a grown up was influenced by Dead Moon magic, Pegasus will no longer be able to reach out to her. Fearful that she'll never see the horse again, Chibi-Usa rushes back to him and regains her child form.
* HypocriticalHumor: Sailor Moon starts her InTheNameOfTheMoon speech by chastising Palla Palla for harming children who haven't finished their homework.

* InternalReveal: Pegasus explains to Tall Lady that he comes from a DreamLand called Elysium and namedrops the Dead Moon Circus who are after the Golden Crystal.
* LivingToys: The Blue One summons toy sized Lemures to attack the Sailor Guardians after failing to summon Reigen's Horsona.
* LookBehindYou: Fed up with unwanted constructive criticism, the Blue One tricks her child audience to look at the candy tree behind them. This allows her to shoot them all with her ''Shot Gun Special''.
* MetaGuy: Palla Palla's audience criticizes her puppet show for her lackluster writing and abrupt ending.
* MythologyGag: Palla Palla reversing the heroes' ages is just like in the manga, only it happened in the first chapter of the new StoryArc.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: While confronting the Quartet girl, Moon and Chibi Moon get into an argument over whether it's better to be an adult or a kid. This inspires Palla Palla to use her ''Opposite Orb'' move to switch their ages.

* OhCrap: Not-So-Chibi Moon gets this when she realizes that her ''Twinkle Yell'' attack has no effect.

* ShoutOut: After seeing that his wife and daughter have switched ages, Mamoru asks if he's on ''Series/CandidCamera''. In the Viz Dub, he asks if he's being ''Series/{{Punkd}}''.

* TheUnReveal: It's never explained how Palla Palla lured a bunch of children in the middle of the night to take out their Dream Mirrors.

* WhamShot: Just when it looks like Chibi-Usa is about to kiss a horse, it then shows Pegasus as a human boy.

* CallBack: Mercury's water attack neutralizes the candy themed monster and saves everyone's keisters, just like with [[ Recap/SailorMoonREp30MagicOfDarknessEsmeraudesInvasion Marzipan]].
