''Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Team Go-Getters Out of the Gate!'' is the first of the ''Anime/{{Pokemon}}'' anime's adaptations of the ''VideoGame/PokemonMysteryDungeon'' spinoff games. This special is based on the original two ''VideoGame/PokemonMysteryDungeonRescueTeam'' games. Despite officially being a part of the main anime and using the same style as it, the special is unrelated to the anime and takes place in a separate universe.
