* WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway: The kids don't believe Dendy is part of K.O.'s team, since she's not good at fighting. She explains that she helps with logistics and tech, which the other kids make fun of.
* WhatMeasureIsANonBadass: InUniverse, the other kids in K.O.'s and Dendy's class seem to think this, believing that, since K.O. is the one who does all the physical fighting (something Dendy is not skilled at), he doesn't need her along on the missions. K.O. himself, however, vehemently refutes this and insists that she ''is'' a very important team member. Dendy gets to prove it herself when it's left up to her to save K.O. from Small Calf Demon, and succeeds single-handedly in doing so.
