* BrokenAesop: The narrative seems to side with Adrien, who says that it's wrong to celebrate Chloé leaving Paris because she was angry and hurt when she left; Marinette throws Chloé a party at the end when she comes back to celebrate her baby steps towards being a better person. Naturally, this doesn't go over well with fans who point out that being happy that your bully isn't there to bully you anymore is a completely normal and justified reaction to have. While Chloé knows that no one at school likes her and acknowledges that the situation is her fault, she continues treating her classmates snobbishly at the end of the episode and never apologizes to them for her bullying.

* SourOutsideSadInside: While Chloe's threat to leave Paris is initially played off as her merely throwing a tantrum over the lack of respect from her peers, her conversation with Ladybug reveals she's genuinely distraught at how loathed she is and doesn't want to stay in a city where nobody likes her.

Though in production order, there are two episodes between the two, playing the trope even straighter.
