On a hot day, T.D. is visiting the Lorraines and drawing with Helen. Everyone is unhappy with the weather, and Jake even got a rash solely from the sheer heat. Martha begins telling him a story to try to cheer him up, and sets it in a house in the woods.

She introduces three bears, basing them off the Lorraines (except Helen) and has Mama Bear order a pizza before they go for a walk. Helen points out that the Three Bears eat porridge, not pizza, but Martha explains that it's hot in her story as well and people don't eat porridge on hot days. She then adds a version of Goldilocks into the story, called Goldie-Martha and based on herself. When a knight arrives with pizza, she eats the entire pizza despite it being too hot, then goes to take a nap due to having eaten too much.

After a struggle to find the right cushion, "Goldie-Martha" falls through the chair and into another dimension, where the playing card army from ''Literature/AliceInWonderland'' appears, led by a Queen of Hearts based on Mrs. Demson. The Queen sneezes her crown off, Martha brings it back, but the Queen gets mad that Martha drooled on the crown and has her servant vacuum her fur off. Skits appears as the "Skits Hatter" and Martha follows him to a little girl resembling a cross between Helen and Literature/LittleRedRidingHood.

She introduces herself as Little Red Riding Helen, who has a basket of food, which "Goldie-Martha" and the "Skits Hatter" eat. "Little Red Riding Helen" is unhappy, since the food was meant for her grandmother and the Big Bad Wolf (portrayed by Bob) is coming.

They run away to a beanstalk, climb out of the way, and then "Little Red Riding Helen" suggests soothing him. Just then, a boy resembling T.D. appears and offers help. He presents a duck, who lays an egg that has a doggie treat in it. The wolf takes the treat and the heroes jump down from the beanstalk. Then, two giants resembling Weaselgraft and Pablum appear, angry that the boy stole the duck.

The good guys escape to a castle, where they find a snoring girl who looks like Alice. She wakes up and is revealed to be "Sleeping Clumsy", the cousin of Sleeping Beauty. She's excited to have a "playdate", but then the giants reach in. The main characters escape into a hallway, where they run into a version of Nelson that breathes fire (apparently adopted by Sleeping Clumsy's parents to guard her).

They run away, and then the rest of the villains join in the chase, then they see a version of Truman plugging a hole at the water tower. "Goldie-Martha" decides to make the tower leak so the antagonists will be washed away, so she scares him by claiming there's a bug on his head. Then, they go back to the Three Bears' house and eat more pizza. Back in reality, everyone falls asleep.

------
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Downplayed. In Martha's story, the Queen of Hearts is still very much ''not'' nice, but at least she doesn't want "Goldie-Martha" decapitated; only left bald.
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange: Goldilocks is a human girl. "Goldie-Martha" is a dog.
* AgeLift:
** In the original Goldilocks story, Baby Bear was at least old enough to speak fluently. In Martha's story, he's the same age as Jake, so about 19-23 months.
** Goldilocks was a kid in the original story, but is portrayed here by Martha, who is fully grown.
** Sleeping Beauty was a young woman who was either sixteen or eighteen depending on the story. Sleeping Clumsy is a
ten-year-old girl since she's based on Alice.
* AnimalJingoism: "Goldie-Martha" thinks that the reason the fire-breathing cat is bad is because all cats are "bad news".
* AteItAll: "Goldie-Martha" eats the entire pizza despite it being meant for three people.
* AuthorAvatar: Martha makes up "Goldie-Martha", a cross between Goldilocks and herself.
* BaitAndSwitch: "Goldie-Martha" says she knows how to deal with the Big Bad Wolf... by running.
* BarefootCartoonAnimal: "Goldie-Martha" wears a wig, shirt, and skirt, but no shoes.
* BeanstalkParody: At one point, the characters in the story climb a beanstalk and meet a boy who's a cross between Jack and T.D., with a duck that lays eggs that hatch into golden bones.
* TheBigBadWolf: Parodied. Martha adds a Big Bad Wolf into her story as Little Red Riding Helen's adversary, and bases him off Bob.
* BigEater: "Goldie-Martha" has just as big of an appetite as the real Martha -- she eats a whole pizza, then is hungry again soon after, and then later gets hungry again even after eating Little Red Riding Helen's grandmother's food.
-->'''Little Red Riding Helen''': "How can you be hungry again so quick?"
* BreathWeapon: The cat can breathe fire.
* ButYouWereThereAndYouAndYou: Martha bases the characters in her story on herself and her acquaintances -- Mama Bear is based on Mariella, Papa Bear on Daniel, their son on Jake, Goldie-Martha on herself, the Queen of Hearts on Mrs. Demson, the Skits Hatter on Skits, Little Red Riding Helen on Helen, the Big Bad Wolf on Bob, Jake on T.D., the Duck That Laid the Golden Bone on Ralph, the giants on Weaselgraft and Pablum, Sleeping Clumsy on Alice, the fire-breathing cat on Nelson,
* CloudCuckoolander: The "Skits Hatter" bounces like a kangaroo for no reason. He's not even based on the White Rabbit or the March Hare, who would have had reason to bounce.
* EggLayingMale: A drake lays an egg in the story.
* {{Fingore}}: The Weaselgraft giant gets his finger slammed in a door.
* FoodComa: In the story, "Goldie-Martha" decides she needs a nap after having too much pizza.
* FoodEnd: Martha's story ends on all the good characters eating pizza.
* FunnyFanVoice: At the beginning, Martha has fun talking into one of the many fans in the room and T.D. joins in.
* GoToSleepEnding: After Martha tells the story, everyone falls asleep.
* GrowlingGut: "Goldie-Martha" talks to her growling stomach when she first arrives on the scene.
* HalfDressedCartoonAnimal: The "Skits Hatter" wears a tuxedo shirt, but no pants.
* HeatWave: The episode takes place on a very hot day. So hot it even gives Jake a rash.
* InsultBackfire: Helen, probably grumpy due to the hot weather, calls Martha and T.D. "irritating" for talking into a fan. Martha isn't fazed and asks if "irritating" means "fun".
* TheKlutz: "Sleeping Clumsy" is just as clumsy as Alice, falling out of her chair and making other such blunders.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: "Little Red Riding Helen" asks if the "Duck who Laid the Golden Bone" is "supposed" to be the Goose who Laid the Golden Eggs.
* LoudSleeperGag: "Sleeping Clumsy" snores so loudly that "Little Red Riding Helen" and Jack initially mistake her snoring for a dragon or ogre, and "Little Red Riding Helen" asks, "Can you imagine a sleepover here?".
* MeaningfulName: "Sleeping Clumsy" is just as clumsy as her name suggests, falling over a lot.
* MediumAwareness: Jack says he came from "the fairy tale next door".
* MockingSingSong: The kids and "Goldie-Martha" taunt the giants with "Nya nya nee na na, you can't get us!".
* MondegreenGag: When "Little Red Riding Helen" mentions needing to "soothe" the Big Bad Wolf, "Goldie-Martha" thinks she said, "smooth".
* OhCrap:
** Whenever an antagonist shows up, the good guys freeze up and then run away.
** The baddies look scared when the flood of water comes their way.
* NamedByTheAdaptation:
** In ''Literature/{{Goldilocks}}'', Baby Bear is unnamed. In Martha's story, he's named Jakey, because he's based on Jake Lorraine.
** In ''Literature/LittleRedRidingHood'', the eponymous girl is only named by her nickname. In the story, Martha names her Helen (aka Little Red Riding Helen).
* OurGiantsAreBigger: Weaselgraft and Pablum appear as giants.
* ThePratfall:
** Jakey Bear falls on his butt soon after being introduced.
** When "Sleeping Clumsy" falls from the chair after napping, she lands on her derriere. Then, she gets up and falls on it again.
* SpellMyNameWithAThe: Skits's character in the story is ''the'' Skits Hatter, and Ralph's is ''the'' Duck who Laid the Golden Bone.
* StockYuck: T.D. expresses disgust at the idea of eating "hot, lumpy porridge", then when Martha says that Jake doesn't want any either, he shakes his head in agreement.
* StorybookEpisode: Martha's story takes up most of the episode and parodies ''Literature/{{Goldilocks}}'', ''Literature/AliceInWonderland'', ''Literature/LittleRedRidingHood'', ''Literature/JackAndTheBeanstalk'', ''Literature/SleepingBeauty'',
* TemptingFate:
** The story characters tease the giants for not being able to get them, only for them to reach in through the windows.
** They (excepting "Sleeping Clumsy") then laugh at the idea of a cat as a guard beast... only for the cat to breathe fire.
* UnnamedParent: Despite naming the baby bear Jakey, Martha still doesn't give the parent bears names beyond Mama Bear and Papa Bear.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Truman's counterpart is just as afraid of bugs as the real Truman, and "Goldie-Martha" exploits this by telling him there's a bug on his head, causing him to throw his arms up in fear and unplug the hole in the water tower, washing away the villains.
