** When Rosa spots the spacemen from earlier who asphyxiated in space, Papa G's the first to sugar-coat the truth and say they're just "napping". This hints at Papa G's tendency of protecting other people's feelings from a harsh truth, which is shown later when he fakes a "win" for Kid to make him feel better about not getting a chance to be a hero.

* EngineeredHeroics: Kid finally scores a medal after taking on an army of robots. The end of the episode reveals that Papa G faked the attack to help Kid.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** When everyone wants Rosa to bury Corgor's corpse, she's instantly grossed out by the very idea. There's only so much you can make a little girl do.
** After being told by Papa G to give them mercy and help them go home, Rosa puts the saucer spacemen in a "rocket" that's really just a grain silo and tosses them into outer space to send them "home". Later, we see the asphyxiated corpses of the aliens floating in space, as the silo did not protect them from a lack of oxygen and the cold of outer space.

** The Local Heroes find themselves in a similar situation against Corgor the Conqueror, as the massive alien looms over them, demanding the stones... and then he dies from being unable to breath Earth's atmosphere.

* EngineeredHeroics: Kid finally scores a medal after taking on an army of robots. [[spoiler: It would be revealed that Papa G faked the attack to help Kid.]]

** Zarkon hits some power lines and is fried alive.
