The Holograms confront Jerrica about Jem's behavior and believe she's had s breakdown. Jerrica, however, doesn't understand what they mean as she's been busy at work all day. They decide to take Jerrica out to relax, but once again Jem causes havoc while Jerrica insists that it wasn't her. Cool Trash magazine unfortunately has already released a best-selling issue about Jem's meltdown. After seeing "Jem" on TV, the Holograms suspect the Misfits of sabotaging them. They're right -- Clash had been pretending to be Jem the entire time. Jerrica refuses to call the police and instead decides to try and fix everything on her own.

Jerrica's scheme is to throw a huge concert, thus baiting her imposter to appear. Danse appears to rehearse dancing for the concert. Clash in disguise as Jem appears at the rehearsal, but Rio notices her and proceeds to get the others to chase her. They end up on a ferry but it's a trap by Eric designed to keep Jem away from the concert while Clash can ruin it. Jem and her friends end up building a raft and getting back to land. They get a hitch back to the concert hall, where Clash gets exposed when she can't sing.

Your Cheating Heart is an index, not a trope.

* TheWorkaholic: Having to take care of a house full of children, being the manager of a music company, ''and'' being a part-time singer has left Jerrica this way.
* YourCheatingHeart: Done rather blatantly when "Jem" goes on a date with Rio, right after Jerrica declined a date with him. Afterwards Rio goes to complain to his girlfriend, Jerrica, about his other girlfriend, Jem.

* SpotTheImposter: While doing so is simple enough (Clash can't sing for her life) much of the problem revolves around most people not realizing there's an imposter to spot in the first place because of Jem's secret identity. The Holograms immediately know something's up when "Jem" appears on tv when Jerrica's with them but Rio doesn't catch on until he sees another Jem sneaking around backstage when the real thing is rehearsing.
