Added DiffLines:

Based on ''Literature/MonsterBlood'', book #3 of the original ''Literature/{{Goosebumps}}'' series.

Evan Ross goes to stay with his great-aunt Kathryn, only to discover a mysterious jar of green, growing slime in one of her upstairs rooms.

In the second episode, while Evan is flying to join his parents in Atlanta, the Monster Blood (which somehow came along with him) gets loose and wreaks havoc on the plane.

!!''Monster Blood'' provides examples of:

* AbledInTheAdaptation: In the book version, Aunt Kathyrn is deaf. In the episode, she is merely a bit hard of hearing.
* AdaptedOut: Evan and Andy never visit Wagner's Novelties & Sundries in the episode, with the Monster Blood being found in the forbidden room in Aunt Kathryn's house instead.
* AdaptationalAlternateEnding: The episode ends with Evan telling the story to a fellow passenger on the plane to meet his parents in Atlanta, [[spoiler: with [[{{Cliffhanger}} the Monster Blood growing out of Evan's luggage]] as a lead in to the next episode, the wholly original ''More Monster Blood'']].
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: The episode gives the true villain, [[spoiler:Sarabeth]], more motivation and backstory than [[GenericDoomsdayVillain their book counterpart]].
* ForbiddenZone: Evan's great aunt Kathryn tells him not to go in the room upstairs in her house. He goes into the room out of curiosity but gets caught by aunt Kathryn, telling him that it's forbidden to enter. [[PoorCommunicationKills Evan and his new friend Andy go into the forbidden room, while aunt Kathryn was out of the house, and find a can of Monster Blood]].

----
!!''More Monster Blood'' provides examples of:

* AdaptationalHeroism: Conan Barber not only helps save the day, but afterwards is all but shown to have made a HeelFaceTurn.
* BlackDudeDiesFirst: A black man is the first to get sucked up by the Monster Blood.
* EpisodeOnAPlane: The entire episode is set on a plane where the Monster Blood is let loose.
* {{Expy}}: Curtis seems to be loosely based on Evan's cousin Kermit from ''Literature/MonsterBloodIII'', but played as a LovableNerd instead of a NerdyBully.
