In part two of the ''Night of the Hurricane'' crossover with this show, ''WesternAnimation/TheClevelandShow'', and ''WesternAnimation/AmericanDad'', the hurricane that blew through Stoolbend, Virginia makes its way to Quahog, Rhode Island. While Brian uses psychedelic mushrooms to pass the time, the Griffins once again abuse Meg -- and Meg finally lets her family know that they're all assholes for treating her badly...until she learns that the abuse is the only thing keeping them from tearing each other apart.

* DownerEnding: It ends with Meg ''continuing'' to be mistreated by the family.

* KarmaHoudini: As usual, Peter, Lois, & Chris get away with their jerkass behavior towards Meg.

to:

* MoralMyopia: Peter sat their doing nothing while Meg lay into Lois for all she's had to put up with from her, however moment Peter realizes that Meg is criticising him he tells Lois to make her stop. Lois calls him out for this and Meg says its just another example of how [[ItsAllAboutMe he only cares about himself]].
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: ''Meg'' of all people has this reaction, reaction when she realizes her family will tear itself apart without someone to blame for all their flaws, and decides to be the family's ButtMonkey again.

* LoveMartyr: Meg decides to apologise to her family and become their lightning rod again because they can't have a healthy relationship with each other without her.

Added DiffLines:

* NegatedMomentOfAwesome: Meg's moment of berating her family for their abusive behaviour is definitely warranted and they certainly had it coming after what they've been doing to her. It's a shame she decides to ''apologise'' to ''them'' for making them feel bad so the family can function again by making her their lightning rod.

This belongs in YMMV.

* FamilyUnfriendlyAesop: It's apparently okay to remain in an abusive environment if it makes your abusers happy to hurt you. What makes this Aesop even ''worse'' is that Brian says Meg is very ''noble'' for staying, rather than advising her to look out for her own happiness, which doesn't make him look any better either. Presumably we're meant to imagine that Meg is happy because she's chosen to be the punching bag of the family. But it's a terrible, terrible message to send out.
