* ModernStasis: The show is set in an AmbiguousTimePeriod, but even after 90 years since the Eds have been kids, the technology and architecture of the Cul-De-Sac hasn't changed at all (apart from Double D having had a [[ClapperGag clapper light installed]]).

* BabiesEverAfter: In a DeletedScene, Eddy finds out he and the other Eds married to the Kankers, honeymooned in the junkyard and had ''lots'' of kids.
* BittersweetEnding: It turns out the ''entire series'' was nothing more than Eddy's childhood memories. Eddy's still not happy about getting/being old, but the ending at least shows the Eds remain good friends who enjoy each others company well into their twilight years.

The "Panda Eddy" scan fails because the neighborhood children find it babyish. Double D helps Eddy see that the Cul-de-Sac kids are growing up, and when he mentions the kids will decide on careers, Eddy comes up with a career counseling scam to decide on careers for the kids. However, Eddy has no desire to grow up and mature, and no sooner does he decide on this than he dreams that he and all the kids are extremely old.

* AmbiguousSituation: It's unclear whether or not the future seen in this episode is the Ed's actual future or if it's just Eddy's hallucination. Given the events of ''[[WesternAnimation/EdEddNEddysBigPictureShow Big Picture Show]]'' contradicts some of the characterizations of the future Cul-de-Sac kids with how they end off in regards to the Eds in the movie, it may retroactively be the latter.
