Arguably, given how Beagle Boys usually look, this was actually quite surprising.

* PaperThinDisguise: It's not exactly a surprise to discover the talking dog and obviously malevolent Nik Nokturne is a Beagle Boy.
** All of the guests are in paper-thin disguises. Yes, it was a costume party, but it didn't take much to figure out who was who.

No snark needed, thank you.

** The security system in [=McDuck=] Manor is labelled "DT-87". Gee, does it really take a genius to know what that refers to.

Not really dramatic irony, since the audience was not aware of this before the characters found out

* DramaticIrony: Scrooge was kidnapped by himself, with some help from Duckworth's ghost.

After they end up in Scrooge's hiding place, the demon reveals itself to be the ghost of Duckworth.Duckworth, working for Scrooge all along. He explains his behavior by having a "flair for the dramatic" - basically just trolling the triplets.

Too Dumb To Live is a death trope. If no one dies they're not too dumb to live.

* TooDumbToLive: Louie invites Ma Beagle, Mark Beaks, and Glomgold to Scrooge's birthday party. Louie defends himself saying he had 1 hour to put together a guest list.
* TheVoiceless: Zigzagged with Dewey. He can't speak with the helmet on, but his keytar is stocked with a few samples of his own voice.

* OnlySaneMan: Louie is a ZigZagged example in this episode. On the one hand, he's the one suggesting that the triplets stop forcing Scrooge to celebrate his birthday with a party and, after he gets kidnapped, trying to convince Huey they should call Mrs. Beakley or the police for help. On the other hand, he was the one who invited Scrooge's RoguesGallery to the party in the first place.

* BirthdayHater: Downplayed in Scrooge's case; he doesn't hate his birthday, but he doesn't like the fact that he's older than everyone he knows being celebrated - he prefers a single day of doing absolutely nothing. As a result, everybody gives him space so he can have the day to himself (for example, Beakley and Webby use his birthday as an annual survival skills trip and Donald simply fled in terror).

* TheButlerDidIt: Parodied brutally twice. First, when Blackarts Beagle is revealed as the criminal, it is done in the most obvious, over the top way, complete with him being visible in position summoning insane magical power while Huey fails to realize he's forgotten a suspect, as Blackarts Beagle is just supplementary to the plan. Secondly? Well...Duckworth did it.
