** 17 starts complimenting Trunk's improved look since their last battle a few weeks ago (their time), including his wife beater shirt. Witnessing Trunks gaining the upper hand with 18, he wonders if he should discuss the context. When 17 calls Trunks "Wife Beater", 18 notices and responds in disgust.

** 17 and 18 take offense to Trunks (or anyone else) calling them Androids. He had previously attempted and failed to correct Goku in the past that they are actually called ''Cyborgs'' and everyone got used to calling them Androids.

* ExactWords: Trunks tells the confused Cyborgs that he's willing to explain how his time travel works if he doesn't take them out in less than a minute. Luckily for him, it takes even less than that to finally put an end of the threat.

WartsAndAll: By the time he returns to the future, Trunks is completely disillusioned by the dysfunctional relationship of the Z-Fighters, especially Vegeta and Goku. He at least acknowledges he's probably not the worst off due to this and Bulma raising him right.
