The team is faced with a puzzle when dismembered body parts are strategically placed around a neighborhood, and later a car bomb explodes in the same area.

!Tropes for the episode:
* ConnectTheDeaths: Mac plots the first three locations where body parts are found and discovers that they're corners of the neighborhood formerly known as "Hell's Kitchen." When they search the fourth corner, they find the victim's missing head.
* ISOStandardUrbanGroceries: Downplayed. After Christine chides Mac for not calling her since their kiss, he promises to make it up to her. The car bomb forces him to cancel that date as well. We can't see a baguette, but he produces a small one and proceeds to make bruschetta for the two of them.
