* EnemyMine: Zig-zagged. While the trio and Sir Cyrus' faction work together, they do butt-heads from time to time. By the end, Sir Cyrus says their truce still stands unless they meddle with his operations again.
* FantasticRacism: Sir Cyrus displays the Forever Knights' hatred for aliens perfectly when Winston flirts with Gwen, saying that they may look human, but they all have alien blood that will ''contaminate'' him.
* PsychicLink: Having been connected to the creature for a brief time, Gwen discovers it calls itself Lucubra and desires to eat on their thoughts until it leaves them as lifeless husks.
