'''[[WebVideo/AtopTheFourthWall Comicron-1]]''' (formerly Lord Vyce's ship)
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/comicron1.png]]
* Appearance: A V-styled spaceship
* Class Level: 3 (2 under Vyce's control)
* Museum Check: Granted (requires the current owner's permission, though)
* Alignment: LawfulGood with its current A.I, LawfulEvil when under Vyce's command. TrueNeutral without its current A.I
* Portfolio: CoolStarship, SpaceFighter, [[NoPlansNoPrototypeNoBackup A Unique Design Near-Impossible To Repair]] [[SelfHealingPhlebotinum Without Use Of The Forge]], WaveMotionGun, HardLight, [[BroughtDownToBadass Best Assets Blocked Off Without Vyce But Still Formidable]], [[ImportedAlienPhlebotinum Constructed From Multiple Universes' Materials]], having a BenevolentAI
* Domains: Interdimensionality, Conquest (Formerly), Review Videos (Currently), Spaceships, Teleporters, Strange Happenings (in general)
* Owner: [[Pantheon/{{Hats}} Linkara]] (current owner), [[Pantheon/MotivationsForEvil Lord Vyce]] (creator and original owner)
* A.I: NIMUE (non-ascended)
* Ship mechanic: [[Pantheon/CharacterActions 90s Dude]]
* Lord Vyce has had many allies in his pursuit of the Entity, but all of them came and gone. The only thing left was his powerful spaceship, a complicated vehicle with material from multiple universes. It utilizes something known as the Forge, which can convert any material nearby to repair the ship. For times unknown it was under his possession, until he was defeated by Linkara and his allies. Many of the ship's abilities were locked without Vyce but it still a formidable ship, and one of Linkara's best assets against the often bizarre enemies he deals with. He's dubbed the ship Comicron-1, and has occasionally made comic book reviews on the ship.
* Currently located in Earth orbit, making up Linkara's "Arsenal of Freedom", and being observed by the US government as a matter of security. Much to the original owner's protest, Linkara has allowed Comicron-1 to show up in the Vehicles Depot. However you need his formal permission before using the ship. As an unabashed nerd he was pretty excited to see it in the same location as the Batmobile and the [=DeLorean=] Time Machine. Unfortunately for him this ''also'' meant it was in the same Hall of the USG ''Ishimura''. The fear of Necromorphs getting onto the Comicron-1 has him tempted to let Lord Vyce open up some protective functions, but he doesn't think it's worth the risk after Vyce broke their EnemyMine [[IgnoredEpiphany as he refused to accept the Entity was dead]] and still argues he's needed [[WellIntentionedExtremist to "protect" the multiverse]].
* As it is, Comicron-1 isn't able to travel to other universes like it was under Lord Vyce. It can go as far enough as Jupiter's orbit, though presumably it can't got FTL. Linkara hasn't tried to at least. Given the cosmic threats he once merely reviewed are in the Trope Pantheon like him, such as [[Pantheon/CelestialBodiesAndStars Planet Remina]], he wishes its full capabilities aren't locked. Petitions for helping the ship reach its full capabilities have been sent to [[Pantheon/CelestialBodiesAndStars Team Lightyear]] and the Pantheon/GreenLantern Corps. No-one who knows how to improve it has managed to make a permanent upgrade. Currently he'll mulling over whether it'd be easier to just find one of [[Pantheon/SpaceAndCosmos Nebby's]] species and use them for multiversal travel.
-->'''Linkara''': ''"Damnit, why do I have to deal [[StatusQuoIsGod with this comic book trope!]]"''
* Almost certainly has an FTL drive, though Linkara has never demonstrated it in part because he's never had to go that far into space, the furthest he's gone being Jupiter's orbit which doesn't require him to exceed c to reach at the time he went there. Vyce has stated that yes it does, that should be obvious, but hasn't gone into more detail and alludes to it being one of the higher functions he refuses to unlock until he gets control of the ship again. [[Pantheon/SpeechAToM Professor Farnsworth]] muses that as it is it's no good if he wants to use it to make interstellar deliveries, but Linkara doesn't care about that since among other reasons he's financially stable. [[Pantheon/LocationsAndSettings Rick Sanchez]] regularly roasts Comicron-1 as looking like a nerd's wet dream or something. His ship is a simple UFO but it can travel interstellar and interdimensional distances with ease and comes equipped with a variety of weapons. While Rick has a point, Linkara refuses to rise to the bait.
* In a way, Comicron-1 [[SapientShip could count as a deity and a treasure]], as it is piloted by an A.I called NIMUE. She does double duty performing security, and looks kind of like [[Pantheon/{{Voices}} HAL 9000]]. [[BenevolentAI However unlike him, she performs as intended]] and rolls her avatar's eyes at her physical design being similar to it. However like everyone else if she wants to be a deity she has to apply and she can exist independently of Comicron-1 if need be. Since the ship itself is part of the Trope Pantheon she is able to communicate to other SpaceshipGirl [=AIs=], such as [[Pantheon/DigitalPersonas EDI]] and [[Pantheon/AIPersonalities Cortana]]. She doesn't feel the need to make a humanoid avatar, at least right now, but she does have a perceived feminine avatar in digital space. ''Don't'' try to override her, especially with your own consciousness; Vyce barely survived her retaliation. Unfortunately beings like [[Pantheon/ActsOfWar SKYNET]] and [[Pantheon/TyrannicalFigures Sigma]] think they have a good shot at succeeding where she failed, and they might be right to think so.
** Since Linkara's favorite film is ''Theatre/{{Camelot}}'', some think that's where he got the name for the AI. [[Pantheon/MagicAndSorcery Merlin]] has been pondering visiting Comicron-1 with that in knowledge.
* Has a scout ship called the Vigilant which can be modified into a SpaceFighter, and an intended second model called Comicron-2 after Comicron-1 ended up out of commission on the moon. Well, ''had'', Vyce ended up taking Comicron-2 to kill the Entity only to fall into the collapsing PocketDimension meant for the now dead for real Entity. Unfortunately, for Vyce, he didn't come back with it, but he muses its design is inferior due to being a GlassCannon. The Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfGood reached out to Linkara after entering [[spoiler:and winning]] the recent Tournament of Champions saying they want to support. The absolute {{Toku}} fan that he is, the GUAG members he gets support of the most from are the Power Rangers. He wants to figure out how to let the Comicron-1 has a mecha mode but the design of the ship is enough of a BlackBox no progress in doing so has been made.
* You have to be invited to enter Comicron-1. [[Pantheon/CritiqueAndParody The Nostalgia Critic]] was kind of annoyed he doesn't have this badass ship, [[WebVideo/ToBoldlyFlee having to settle to make his house a spaceship]], and [[RealLifeWritesThePlot due to out of universe events]] Linkara isn't enthused about inviting him. He might think differently if he or the Angry Video Game Nerd want to help him deal with his or mutual enemies. Villains almost never get an invitation [[LoveToHate even if Linkara's a fan of them]] for security reasons. One of the reasons why it's "almost" is because [[Pantheon/DrugsAndPharmaceuticals Snowflame]] can show up since he's kind of roomies with the reviewer (and he thinks he's a personal EnsembleDarkhorse). He initially allowed superheroes to come in unannounced but grew sick of [[Pantheon/{{Superheroism}} Batman]] trying to make contingency plans for Comicron-1 so from now on they need an invitation. [[Pantheon/RomanticOrientation Blue Beetle and Booster Gold]] are common visitors.
* Though villains almost never get an invitation, there are blatant perma-ban lists. [[CompleteMonster Complete Monsters]], of course they're not invited. Those that push more into existential threat territory for him/being very OP, also never allowed entry. He doesn't want [[Pantheon/ActsOfWar SKYNET]] or any of its [[Pantheon/{{Terminator}} loyal agents]] due to experience with Mechakara. However he has also permanently banned [[Pantheon/{{Wardening}} Amanda Waller]] despite her being more an occasional/ambiguous villain. Why? Simple; she keeps trying to shut his show down and seize his assets for the US government due to not trusting him, or making her own contingencies in case he goes rogue. [[GenreSavvy Being a comic book fan, he feels those contingencies would be at best questionable]].
--> '''Linkara''': ''You know I've read "ComicBook/JLATowerOfBabel'' right? I've seen how a full on superhero's contingencies can go belly-up, so I'm sure as hell not trusting you! Also FYI, [[MisaimedFandom Batman was meant to be seen in the wrong]]."
* Thanks to the holodeck, Linkara is able to make Comicron-1 his home away from home. The ship utilizes repurposed Cybermats made by Linkara's tech expert Dr Linksano. No, not Dr Insano, but his brother from another universe[[note]]his real name is Oscar Schlumper[[/note]]. Linkara's old nemesis was pretty pissed off to see even after a decade he still has ownership of Lord Vyce's ship and he plans to take control of the ship for himself. Lionel Hutz attempted to make some sort of lawsuit over these "borrowed assets", but [[Pantheon/SpaceAndCosmos the crew of the USS Enterprise]] roll their eyes at a harmless ShoutOut. Unfortunately [[Pantheon/CyberneticsAndEnhancements the Cybermen]] had another idea, in that they are trying to control the repurposed Cybermats in order to take the ship for themselves.
* [[Pantheon/MilitaryTechnology SCP-2578-D]] has been communicating with Comicron-1 after noticing its presence in Earth orbit. The KillSat stated that it sees even greater potential for heroism than Linkara thinks, as he could use the ship to intimidate dictators into surrendering power and allowing more freedom. Linkara tacitly refuses as he believes this would be JumpingOffTheSlipperySlope; he had a major reality call [[WhatTheHellHero after being called out for his unheroic actions]] and he witnessed his hologram clone to plan to use it against Marvel and DC editors to force them to improve the quality of comic books. He's a comic-loving nerd and he's not going to indulge in the behavior of characters like ''ComicBook/TheAuthority''. The [=SCPs=] Hall of Pantheon/MilitaryTechnology has been observing the ship for its potential. [[Pantheon/RecollectionAndAmnesia Stan Smith]] has tried to exploit his CIA status to go on the ship under the pretense of the US government monitoring it, but Linkara saw right through it and kicked him off since he would rather avoid any of [[WesternAnimation/AmericanDad his 'verse's]] craziness on his ship...he has enough weirdness on his own.

* Commissioned in 2446, the ''Ishimura'' is named after [[NamedAfterSomebodyFamous Hideki Ishimura, the Japanese astrophysicist]] [[FasterThanLightTravel and creator of ShockPoint Drive]] ([[Literature/DeadSpaceMartyr and unknown to almost everyone, Necromorph outbreak survivor of the Chicxulub Outbreak in 2214]]). The name "Ishimura" is Japanese for "stone village," which is actually fitting, given its job. Built by the Concordance Extraction Corporation, the ''Ishimura'' is the first of what is known as the Planet Cracker-class ships. Built in the wake of the Resource Wars - the severe depletion of Earth's natural resources - the ''Ishimura'' was hailed as the savior of both Earth and its colonies. Planet Cracking is exactly what it means - that a planet is literally cracked open and mined for valuable resources, or as it is known among the rank-and-file, "popping the cork." The ''Ishimura'' not only could crack planets, but was also the first ship that pioneered the 'scan-and-catch' method, using its powerful gravity tethers to snag mineral-rich asteroids for smelting. Given that the name "Ishimura" translates to 'rock village,' it's fitting. However, after 63 years of service and 35 successful planet-cracks, the ''Ishimura'' was to be decommissioned following its final planet-crack at Aegis 7, as it was starting to show its age, despite the numerous upgrades it had over the years. And that was where the horror began.

* It's said that [[Film/{{Alien}} in space, no one can hear you scream.]] However, if you were on board the USG ''Ishimura'' [[VideoGame/DeadSpace1 during the]] [[VideoGame/DeadSpaceRemake Necromorph Outbreak]], then no one could hear you scream bloody murder. High up in low-planet orbit, the ''Ishimura'' shockpoints in, silent and foreboding. The ''Ishimura'' beckons those looking for treasure, or to unravel its secrets. But Issac Clarke knows better. The ''Ishimura'' is a ship of nightmares, and if you're lucky to survive the hordes of Necromorphs and the batshit insane Unitologist fanatics, you will not be the same. Issac knows first hand, as he was among a handful of Survivors who traveled to the ''Ishimura'' and lived to tell the tale. As a live feed of the ''Ishimura'' is sent back to the Pantheon, Issac couldn't help but to quote Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven: "''Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing...''"
And that was where the horror began.
* Under normal circumstances, the Necromorphs that inhabit the ''Ishimura'' should be nothing more than soupy, sludge-like material without the presence of a Marker. However, that is not the case, as Issac Clarke had confirmed that there are at least 12 Marker Fragments placed in unreachable locations on board the ''Ishimura''. Not only that, but the Marker Fragments are just as potent in causing hallucinations, insomnia and in the most extreme cases, Marker Dementia, in which those with higher brain functions are imprinted with blueprints to build more Markers, at the cost of their sanity. For example, Sonya Blade was heard holding a conversation with her deceased twin brother by Johnny and Cassie. Regime Superman was seen weeping, begging for forgiveness from a hallucination of his Lois Lane. Griffith, on the other hand, went temporary insane from seeing a hallucination of the mangled remains of the original Band of the Hawk that he sacrificed to become Femto (to the amusenent of Guts and Casca, whereas Slan of the Godhand found Griffith's meltdown to be arousing). While Nosferatu Zodd and Grunbeld Ahlqvist were unaffected by the Marker Fragments' power, Bishop Mozgus, Wyald and Rosine were driven mad by the hallucinations of their past victims, with the same level of madness befalling Anakin Skywalker, having been driven mad by the Jedi he had slain. And finally, Mitsuko Souma had tried to screw (and kill) Shinji Ikari while screaming "MAKE US WHOLE!"
** As the aforementioned affected parties were being quarantined, more cases begin to come in due to the Marker Fragments. Aerys II Targaryen was left in his own waste as he sat on the Iron Throne, claiming that he had seen the men he had condemned to die, among them being Rickard Stark and his son, Brandon. Tywin Lannister was no better, as he claimed that he was being haunted by hallucinations of House Tarbeck and House Reyne singing 'The Rains of Castamere.' Victor Von Doom claimed that he was immune to the Marker's influence... right before going back to a conversation with his dead mother. The Twelth Doctor steer clear of the ''Ishimura'' as it reminded him of his time onboard a Mondasian colony ship, and wanted nothing to do with the ship. As a result, contingency plans have been made to combat the Marker Fragments' influence. Led by Dr. Gregory House, Rebecca Chambers, and Retsu Unohana, Marker-resistant medicines have been created for those brave (or outright suicidal) enough to board the ''Ishimura''. Surprisingly enough Harley Quinn and The Joker are immune to the Marker Fragments' influence.
* Speaking of the Necromorphs, the ''Ishimura'' is chock full of them, made up of the planet-cracker's crew and several special cases from the USM ''Valor.'' From the mostly common '''[[TheGoomba Slashers]]''' and it's variants, the bile-spewing '''[[BreathWeapon Spitter]]''' and the fast-but-deadly '''[[SuperSpeed Twitcher]]''' to the scorpion-like '''[[InASingleBound Leapers]]''', and things get worse from there. From the disturbing '''[[EnfantTerrible Lurkers]]''' created from cloned babies to the ever-dangerous '''[[PregnantBadass Pregnant]]''', who releases '''[[TheSwarm the Swarmers]]''' if hit in the wrong place. The bat-like '''[[MookMaker Infector]]''' can create more Necromorphs, and while the '''[[ActionBomb Exploder]]''' is the Necromorph equivalent of a suicide bomber, [[HoistByHisOwnPetard turnabout is fair play]], and '''[[InstantDeathRadius The Guardian]]''' can use its tentacles [[OneHitKill to literally knock your block off]]. There are more, but the two main threats are the '''[[EliteMook The Brute]]''' (which is rare, thankfully), and [[AscendedExtra Brant Harris]], better known as the twisted creation of Unitologist fanatics and mad scientist extraordinare, Dr. Mercer, '''[[FromASingleCell The]] [[HopelessBossFight Hunter]].''' There are lesser monsters, but they do not pose that big of a threat.
* Aside from being a mining vessel, the ''Ishimura'' also houses a medical research wing within its Medical Deck. The Biological Prosthetics Center specializes in using cloning technology to replace limbs lost via amputation in workplace accidents. The Medical Deck was also where research into toxins, viruses and genetics take place. This immediately piques the interest of William Birkin, the Wesker 'siblings', Albert and Alex, as well as Alexia Ashford. The chance to study exotic viruses from other planets is almost worth the risk of getting dismembered by the Necromorphs, getting mind-fucked by the Marker or running into the insane second science officer of the ''Ishimura'', Challus Mercer and his creation, the abomination once known as Brant Harris, the Hunter. Religious fanaticism aside, Wesker does find Mercer's notes on how he created the Hunter to be quite an interesting read. Implanting Necromorph tissue into a living brain was a stroke of genius. Wesker wonders if he can do the same to a couple of the Hunter Alphas he has in reserve. A BOW with the ability to regenerate from any injury is something that would give even Chris and Jill nightmares. Mother Miranda can also be seen researching the various genetic files on board the ''Ishimura'', if only to further her own research into bringing Eva back, since using Rosemary Winters as Eva's vessel was a bust.
* For Ellen Ripley, the ''Ishimura'' reminds her of her old ship, the ''Nostromo.'' Only difference is that instead of a single Xenomorph, it's literal walking nightmare fuel. Or, as Ripley had overhead Deadpool call the Necromorphs, "Lovecraftian Pokémon." What makes the ''Ishimura'' worth getting killed for is the smelted materials stored away in Ore Storage, which is worth ''trillions'' of dollars (or credits). But Ripley isn't interested in its cargo. She, along with her daughter Amanda and Dwayne Hicks, venture the ''Ishimura's'' halls, blowing away the mutated denizens of the derelict ship. Granted that Hicks did see a hallucination of his old teammates, he remained true to his title and stayed frosty. However, Ripley seeing not just her dead crewmates from the ''Nostromo'' and Newt had the opposite reaction. She got ''pissed.'' The carnage left behind in Ripley's wake with just a pulse rifle and a flamethrower scared even Amanda.
* To keep the Necromorphs on board the ''Ishimura'' contained, the Pantheon has assembled a crew to go in once a month to cull the Necromorphs, lest they end up becoming another Hive Mind. Samus Aran was the first to volunteer for the assignment, drawing on her experience fighting the Phazon and the X Parasites for the task. Granted that she nearly relapsed after seeing her deceased parents, but the Marker suppressants are working as advertised. The Doom Slayer is suprisingly immune to the Marker's effects. It also didnt help matters that his pet rabbit, Daisy II, was turned into a Lurker Necromorph, so he's out for some revenge, as he wanted to test out his new chainsaw on the Necromorphs. Master Chief drew on his experience fighting The Flood in fighting thr Necromorphs. Twitchers were bad enough, but Commander Shepherd has to deal with Necromorphs that had been mutated by biotics.
* Aside from Raccoon City, the ''Ishimura'' is also a perfect testing ground for advanced weaponry. Doom Slayer accidentally caused a vacuum in space when a BFG blast took out a window when he was trying to take down a Brute. Remember that one time where Issac Clarke was skeptical of the Metal Blade's power? Mega Man was more than happy to show the resident engineer what 114 shots of ceramic titanium could do. In the end, Issac himself was made a believer of the Metal Blade's power, Mega Man dismembering Necromorphs faster than the Ripper ever could. The various Terminators (T-800, T-1000, Uncle Bob, T-850 and T-X) and Marcus Wright, are usually seen patrolling the Ishimura's corridors. With the exception of the T-X and the T-1000, the other Terminators and Marcus are packing the Westinghouse M-25 Phased Plasma Pulse-Gun (in the 40-watt range), the firepower strong enough to pierce a Brute's armor plating.
* The viral bacteria that creates the Necromorphs is a thing of interest to the Pantheon's scientific community. Or rather, those that have zero morals. After the fiasco with the Think Tank getting their hands on a couple of T-virus samples and using it on a Supermutant Behemoth and a Nightstalker, the cabal of mad scientists are banned from entering the Medical Deck. Given the nature of the Necromorph contagion and the Marker Fragments scattered throughout the ''Ishimura'', there is an ongoing debate on whether or not the Pantheon's undead deities would be affected should they enter the ship. So far, not one undead deity has taken the chance. Nekron and Nagash the Undying both claim that they could traverse the ''Ishimura'' without succumbing to the Marker's effects, let alone the virus that mutates necrotized flesh. The Scourge wants to have a showdown with the ''Ishimura's'' Necromorph community, but there is a chance that this would end in a catastrophic diaster. The fact that the Marker Fragments had mutated the Revenant into a Necromorph that fired rockets from its hands is a strong claim to keep the undead away from the ''Ishimura.''
