The Time Lord as both an ally of Humanity and lover of history has taken it upon himself to prevent Savage's conquest of Mankind whenever they encounter. The Immortal despises the addition of the Time Traveler to his already enormous collection of enemies and his now much limited use of time travel. His hatred of the Doctor has grown infinitely greater when [[ComicBook/DCOneMillion one of his avatars]] [[DeathByIrony died at the hands of his past self]] when traveling to the past. The Time Lord has claimed non interference, saying that it was Savage's [[TheSociopath own lack of morality]] that has lead to his death.
