* Spotty's death. Made worse by Anago immediately immediately chowing down on his body. Not even Jooldom, the fish who delighted in bullying Spotty and even relished eating off parts of his tail, can join in the immediate delight of his tank mate as he and the rest of the tank are rightfully horrified.

* Padak's death, her efforts amount to nothing, as she's abruptly picked up to be eaten after the customers who nearly got the Master killed change their minds, and is served ''alive'' to be eaten, with her last sights being the human who'll eat her and is also mocking her by placing cigarettes in her still-moving mouth. Even the Master is so shocked by her death that he doesn’t even try to play dead when a couple of humans comes by.

* The Master's POV of the restaurant while on the chopping counter, about to be killed: he sees fish being served alive, fish being beheaded and pushed down the sink, fish being boiled (Presumably [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yin_Yang_fish alive as well]]), and close ups of the human parton's mouths as they joyfully eat the fish and finally, the remains of the dead fish being pushed down the drain (Spotty's corpse included).

* The first on screen kill of the film definitely qualifies as the mackerel that's picked instead of Padak is gutted alive and flayed before being tossed in the sink; ALL BEFORE THE OTHER FISH, though Padak is the only one to be bothered by it.

** The first on screen kill of the film definitely qualifies as the mackerel that's picked instead of Padak is gutted alive and flayed before being tossed in the sink; ALL BEFORE THE OTHER FISH, though Padak is the only one to be bothered by it.
** Padak's dream sequence. It looks like something out of ''Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion''
** The dying, but not quite dead fish who is thrown into Tank #3. He begs the others not to kill him as he's still alive, but Anago pushes him toward's the master's grate where the fish is immediately grabbed and pulled into. Moments later the now dead fish is tossed back out, the Master having eaten its eyes and killed it, as the rest of the fish begin eating his body. This includes the child-like and so-far friendliest fish to Padak, Spotty, who is as overjoyed as everyone else to be eating the fish they were just conversing with.
** The young boy who "saves" Padak from the king crabs and places her in the aquarium. He's very pleased when he looks over from his food and sees Padak eating the clownfish in his tank.
** Spotty's death is such a gut-punch but it's made worse by Jooldom, who had previously just been an AffablyEvil bastard immediately chowing down on his body. Not even Jooldom, the fish who delighted in bullying Spotty and even relished eating off parts of his tail, can join in Anago's immediate delight as he and the rest of the tank are rightfully horrified.
** The Master's POV of the restaurant while on the chopping counter, about to be killed: he sees fish being served alive, fish being beheaded and pushed down the sink (as is Spotty's), Ying-Yang fish being boiled (Presumably alive as well), and close ups of the human parton's mouths as they joyfully eat the fish.

** * The film will give anxiety to any claustrophobe, as the setting it takes place in is restricted almost entirely to the very small tank the fish reside in and there's an underlying feeling of dread due to all the fish being on borrowed time in the Tank.
