Though fortunately most of the characters are actually allies of the player rather than his enemies contrary to what you might expect from a Creepypasta and adopting a more RousseauWasRight mindset than most other Creepypastas, ''Godzilla NES Creepypasta'' is still no less horrifying.

*** While some see the pilots of the Tankzilla and Mothplane ejecting right after Red grabs their vehicles, it just hammers further just how big he must compared to the other Kaiju. [[NothingIsScarier And the fates of the pilots are left to the imagination.]]

* In Chapter 6, Carl meets an old woman named Arba who lives with her grandson, Yad. She states that Yad’s parents were worked to death at a factory. Later, a level takes place in such a factory, where a worker does die on the job during gameplay. The final section of the factory level is a slaughterhouse, where the dead workers are processed into packaged meat, the same packaged meat that serves as the healing item for this chapter. Carl understandably has an IAteWhat reaction at this revelation, and immediately wonders if [[TheSecretOfLongPorkPies Arba and Yad unknowingly ate their own family]].

** The official game adaptation makes the chases away from him even more nerve-wracking, even for the first "RUN" level. He has the ability to switch positions on the fly and keep you on your toes for a good three minutes. The only way a player can tell is by checking how high the fires are in the background, and even then, you get little to no breathing room all throughout. Fortunately, your monster isn't a OneHitPointWonder here, but if Red catches them three times, he'll grab the Kaiju with his tongue and devour them as the screen begins flickering [[HellIsThatNoise with a horrible sound]]. Cue the GameOver straight after.

** Not-Mogeura isn't too bad to look at (being a flying fish with arms), but it can be a little unsettling on your first read-through
** Not-Gezora is a hideous bipedal creature with a brain for a head
** Not-Varan looks like some horrifying spiked horse with its head facing the wrong way
** Not-Hedorah resembles a skeletal sea monster
** Not-Baragon is an [[ArmlessBiped armless bipedal]] monstrosity with an elephant skull for a head and a [[MoreDakka literal Gatling gun]] [[CompensatingForSomething penis]] and is so big the "ground" of the battle is noticeable lowered and its head is still barely grazing the barrier that separates the battle screen and the monsters' power and life meter
** Not-Gigan has one of Gigan's arms for a foot, Wolverine claws for hands, and a gaping mouth where Gigan's buzzsaw originally was with sharp, jagged teeth
** Not-Mechagodzilla is a quadruped with an ambiguously-human head and cannons on its side
