When Ella gets up to leave, he casually asks if her finding out that he was a psychopathic murderer meant that they were breaking up...as if it hadn't registered to him that she wouldn't want anything to do with him after figuring out his true nature along with his attempt to KILL HER. Something is definitely wrong with that man.
