Fanfiction portraying her as a villain invariably plays up her as being a kind of "mistress of love potions and mind-controlling poisons". In canon, chemical usage is the specialty of Kodachi Kuno. And even Kodachi sticks with paralysis and sleeping powder.

The others involved more the [[HonorBeforeReason "I'm an Amazon and you're my love rival, so it can't be helped!"]] gig than trying to murder Akane bloodily [[ForTheEvulz just for shits and giggles]] or to cruelly and venomously spite Ranma for not choosing her.

* If ''Franchise/{{Zoids}}'' fanfiction were to be believed, one would think Bit and Leena were ''constantly'' stealing each other's snacks, but it's only happened maybe once or twice on the actual show.
* Children's anime localizations have yet to live down the stain of such polarizing dubs as those of ''Anime/SailorMoon'' and ''Anime/CardCaptorSakura'', to say nothing of the disaster that was the Creator/FourKidsEntertainment dub of ''Manga/OnePiece'', despite the fact that there have been superior children's anime dubs such as those for ''Anime/SamuraiPizzaCats'' by Creator/{{Saban|Entertainment}} and ''Anime/FutariWaPrettyCure'' by Cloverway. Even with diamonds in the rough such as those two, just the very mention of a family entertainment specialist such as Saban picking up an anime such as ''Anime/SmilePrettyCure'' can and all too often does result in a BrokenBase.

People tend to forget that said rat had [[UpliftedAnimal significantly improved intelligence]] like other Stand-using animals, so it outsmarting Jotaro shouldn't be that unusual, and its Stand could fire long-range projectiles, giving it a massive advantage over Star Platinum, which has massive strength but pitiful range.

** In the first season finale, the Inner Senshi all died and Usagi had to go on to fight Queen Beryl and then Metalia alone, drawing strength from her friends' spirits to keep her going. The only other season to do anything remotely similar was Stars, but from the way some fans talk about it you'd think every single big battle ended with Usagi whimpering as all her friends tuned into cannon fodder and finally using her power when their ghosts came back to pat her back. Wiki/ThisVeryWiki has even accused her of such.

Toriyama sort of subverted/played with this, in the final arc, the super Genki Dama is only successful due to Satan having inflated his reputation to the extent he is famous worldwide as savior of the world, whereas 99.99% of Earth's population is "Goku? Who is Goku?". A case for "humility isn't always a good thing".

** ''Anime/DragonBallZKai'' is sometimes thought to be heavily censored. However, this isn't the case - while the original version does have ''some'' censorship (the scene where Piccolo blows a hole through Goku and Raditz is edited and shots of genitalia and FlippingTheBird are removed), it's largely negligable. This mistaken assumption can be largely attributed to the original broadcasts done on Nicktoons and Toonzai, which ''were'' heavily censored, removing blood and profanity, and, in the latter's case, [[NeverSayDie removing all references to death]] and making Mr. Popo blue. It had been hyped up for the entire season and it's an incredibly strong Pokémon in-game, but losing to an opponent ''[[ElementalRockPaperScissors while it had type advantage]]'', and to a move that didn't make sense for a Mega Charizard X anyway, created countless jokes along the lines of Greninja secretly being the world's most flammable Water-type.
