''Weezer'', nicknamed ''The Teal Album'', is the twelfth studio album and fifth SelfTitledAlbum by Music/{{Weezer}}, released in 2019. It is notable for being a CoverAlbum of songs predominantly from TheEighties.

The album is believed to have been set in motion by an online fan campaign to get the band to cover Music/{{Toto}}'s "Africa," spearheaded in late 2017 by a Twitter account called "@weezerafrica" run a by a 14-year-old. On January 24, 2019, the album was announced and released on the same day as a surprise release ahead of the band's thirteenth album, referred to as ''The Black Album'', which released under two months later.

The album received a mixed reception from fans; while its light-hearted, seemingly self-aware style was enjoyed by some -- with analyses even being made interpreting it as a {{satire}} of cover albums -- it was taken by others as unimaginative and ultimately unnecessary ahead of ''The Black Album''.
