Discharge was an incredibly influential HardcorePunk band formed in 1977 in the miserably named town of Stoke-on-Trent. They promoted Anarchism as a politics ideology, and became famous for the creation of “D-Beat”, a lightning-fast mixture of hardcore punk and Speed metal that would go on to influence Crust Punk, ThrashMetal and Grindcore.
