* The original incarnation of the Slender Man himself is a mysterious, sadistic creature as ancient as recorded history, whose portrayal is far more openly evil than many later incarnations. The Slender Man has stalked humankind for thousands of years, orchestrating a variety of bloody tragedies to mask his favorite activity: the mass kidnapping of children for nefarious purposes, usually manifesting as torturing and butchering them for his own amusement. Countless people have been driven insane by the Slender Man, their minds broken by his torments to such an extent that they kill themselves or their own loved ones in his honor. Even when the military has attempted to contain the Slender Man, he has easily slaughtered their ranks and left hundreds dead in his wake, in some cases depopulating entire government facilities and schools. In his most cruel outing, the Slender Man links his mind to an innocent man, makes him kill his own wife, then forces him to have detailed visions of every crime that Slender Man commits, granting the man apparent immortality so that he is trapped forever as a private witness to Slender Man's atrocities. Rarely seen without a SlasherSmile and always going out of his way to torture and kill as many people as he can, the Slender Man has ended or ruined thousands of lives, and his untold final plan is made clear to be a secondary goal to his truest enjoyment, which is simply to cause pain everywhere he goes.

* WebVideo/WhisperedFaith: The Speaker differs from other incarnations of WebOriginal/TheRake in the sense that he is not a mindless beast, but a cunning and malevolent cult leader. A HumanoidAbomination whose voice is capable of both tempting and tormenting humans, the Speaker creates cultists loyal only to him by getting humans addicted to his voice and enslaving them to his will. A BadBoss to his own worshipers, the Speaker murders his own right-hand man and claims his soul when a more competent cultist arrives to take his spot, intending on feasting upon him for all of eternity.

->Jeff: "Fuck you."
->HABIT: "Fuck you. Fuck you. Do you even know why you said that? No, no idea? Was it anger? Was it trying to get footing, trying to get leverage in this situation, trying to make me think? See, I've interrogated a lot of people, I've hurt lots of people, tortured a lot of people, I've done lots of terrible fucking things to people. I've had thousands of people, millions, billions across my tables. And you'd be surprised how many do that."

* ARG/CaughtNotSleeping: The Showtime Killer is the most evil character in the series despite being only a minor threat in the grand scheme of things. A merciless SerialKiller who murdered at least 17 people in different cities from the West Coast, Showtime is properly introduced torturing two victims with scissors and other tools while filming their agony. Showtime stands in contrast to other antagonists as an entirely human psychopath who simply takes pleasure in hurting defenseless people.
* WebVideo/DarkHarvest: Dr. Hans Freuhauf, a long-deceased follower of the Slender Man, serves as the PredecessorVillain to the Order. Equal parts a Nazi MadScientist and an Ghostapo occultist, Freuhauf satisfied his obsession for the Slender Man by experimenting on the detainees of the Belsen POWCamp concentration camp, elongating their limbs to make them resemble his idol. Defecting to the US during Operation Paperclip and appointed as the director of the Princeton Experiment, Freuhauf performed many sacrifices in his attempts to open a portal to the Fourth World, ultimately resulting in the Slender Man massacring the staff of the Atlantic Test Site.
* WebVideo/EverymanHybrid: HABIT is a sadistic entity capable of taking control of people's bodies, forcing his still-aware host to murder people for his own entertainment. While possessing Evan, HABIT strangles Daniel to death, extensively tortures Jeff and Steph before eventually killing them, and devours Evan and Steph's infant daughter. When Evan is released, HABIT gives him a HealingFactor that leaves him broken but unable to die. When Vincent summons HABIT for answers, HABIT forces Vince to lure more victims, locking Vince in a room for two years, psychologically torturing him and preventing Vince from killing himself. On his blog, HABIT posts writings from his victims, letting Slender Man take his survivors, claiming to have been multiple historical serial killers and war criminals. In a crossover appearance, HABIT tortures Shaun Andersen to death in a plot to lure in his brother Michael, and the entity possessing him, "Patrick". Throughout his appearances, HABIT plainly a rampant monster, who lives inflict pain for its own sake.
* Blog/SeekingTruth: Albert "Al" Conaghan, the ArchEnemy of Detective Zeke Strahm, is a corrupt businessman who uses his wealth to fund his crimes. Already a prolific SerialRapist before his first encounter with the Slender Man, Conaghan raped several teenagers and even kept some as his sex slaves, earning Zeke's hatred by raping and murdering his high-school crush. Rather than being forced into servitude, Conaghan willingly became a devotee of the Slender Man and butchered people in his name, including four children and Zeke's partner.
* WebVideo/StanFrederick: Connor Dwight is Stan's brother-in-law and his most personal foe. Haunted by the Slender Man since his childhood, Connor is responsible for murdering his parents and sacrificing the lives of 13 children to appease the Slender Man in return for his own safety. * WebVideo/TribeTwelve: Mary Asher, Milo's mother, was haunted by the Slender Man as a child and, living in fear of her future death, would try to sacrifice her family in her place. Joining the Slender Man-worshipping cult, the Order, Mary killed her two ex-husbands, and conceived Milo in the first place as a future sacrifice; she also tried to conceive more children for this purpose. Milo's journal expands on this; Mary had Milo taken to into the Order, regularly having them drink his blood; used drugs and gaslighting to keep him in line, and utilized physical abuse at the slightest resistance. Mary self-harms to get Milo institutionalized and implies she'll have his beloved cat put down to punish him for standing up to her. Mary also set her sister's house on fire while her young nephew Noah was asleep, burning his babysitter alive; and helped bomb and capsize a boat dozens of people were on, killing her mother and another young nephew. Mary claims to be a victim trying to protect her family, but both Noah and Milo see right through her as a selfish coward willing to sacrifice her family to ensure her own survival.

* Film/AlwaysWatchingAMarbleHornetsStory: This take on the Operator is more malevolent than its original counterpart, being portrayed as a supernatural SerialKiller, rather than a living malignant virus. The Operator would possess people to kill their loved ones, using a CallingCard to taunt and mark future victims. The Operator has a man kill his girlfriend, before stalking a family. Slowly revealing itself to the family, they flee across the country to escape it, before Operator possesses the father into smothering his daughter before trying to kill his wife. When she kills him in self-defense, she tries to suicidally burn the house down, but survives and is left broken. The Operator begins a news crew investigating the family's disappearance. Thinking it'll stop the Operator, Milo commits suicide, but the Operator to possess his corpse to kill his friends before throwing its puppet aside.
* VideoGame/SlenderTheArrival: This rendition of the Slender Man is shown to be rather malicious in its messages. Responsible for countless disappearances, the Slender Man has stalked the Matheson family for generations, notably terrorizing and abducting young Charlie Matheson from his parents, mutilating him into an emaciated corpse-like creature in constant pain and later tormenting Charlie's father into committing suicide. When Carl and Kate investigate it and find that knowledge of the Slender Man keeps it around, Carl tries to kill himself and Kate to stop it, before the Slender Man takes Kate turning her into the ravenous "Chaser". Stalking Kate's friend Lauren as she uncovers the truth, she jumps off a tower, but the Slender Man keeps her alive to spread its influence. In its messages, the Slender Man sees death and torment as a game, and in a secret level sets helpless victim on fire, keeping her alive throughout.
