The extreme crackdown on all things Squat was eventually turned into a meme wherein Games Workshop would send out secret police (or death squads, in later versions) to disappear anyone who mentioned them. Somewhat less relevant with the release of 6th Edition, which while not bringing back playable Squats did deign to mention them in one fluff piece in the rulebook. The post ending with a reminder to buy the new Guard characters has lead some people to view how Games Workshop has been removing the older Guard characters in favor of what they perceive to be {{Replacement Scrapp|y}}ies such as the aforementioned Ursula J.
