Before long, these white lies essentially vanish as Takagi makes a point that she has ''never lied'' to him, aside from one time when he lied to her, so she offered to prove she could be trusted to keep his secret by sharing her own secret, then told him she loves him, laughing that she just lied as payback [[spoiler: but didn't mention that the lie was about her feelings being a ''secret'']].

** The first short of episode 10 focuses on Takagi seeing if she or Nishikata is taller. At the end of the episode, she makes it seem like she's going in for a kiss, but she ends up saying that he definitely is taller than her.
