* WithFriendsLikeThese: Despite the fact that Bancoran is often appointed as Patalliro's personal bodyguard and Patalliro has developed a very perverted crush on him, they are so hateful, spiteful, and violent towards one another that it actually comes as a surprise when Bancoran calls himself a friend of Patalliro's during a rant (Episode 12) or when Maraich points out how close they are despite the constant fighting (Episode 29).

* AgentScully: Bancoran takes up this approach from time to time when confronted with things like time travel and magic. While it’s part of his job as a secret agent, he generally does it to keep his sanity from dealing with Patalliro.
