* AmbiguousGender: Ume, Meguro and Yuuma's boss at their part-time job, isn't really clarified as to what their gender is, and their appearance is fairly androgynous. Yuuma does refer to them as "Oneesan", but he's very hesitant when doing so, so it's possible that's just the way he thought it easiest to identify them.

* {{Polyamory}}: Yuuma is in a consensual polyamorous relationship. He does consider himself a little weird for being in love with multiple girls at once, but decides to stay true to his feelings. His girlfriends have no such reservations.

* DecoyProtagonist: Koga. He is very much the focus at the beginning, but his status as the point of view character wanes overtime and later on starts appearing much less frequently. By that point it is clear that the true protagonist is Meguro herself.

* AmbiguouslyBi: While staying at a love hotel for "girl talk," Henmi flirts with Meguro and asks her if she's ever had sex with a girl before. Meguro replies that she has Koga, but declines to answer the actual question.

** Played straight with Henmi, who has several sex friends.

** Fujii turns out to be this way as well. She's been dating her childhood friend for years, but doesn't feel anything romantic and doesn't understand what love is like.
** Henmi as well, who says she cannot feel actual love, but loves sex and has a long list of sex friends.

Not an inversion, the trope goes both ways.

* WantedASonInstead: Inverted. Koga's mother says she always wanted a daughter instead. She doesn't take it out on Koga, but she does use it as an excuse to dote all over Meguro.
