* [[In Touch With His Feminine Side]]: The art teacher, Mr. Kagoshima who is usually in flamboyant attire and waxes sweet poetry to the ears of Machiko and the girls of the school. In one episode, the girls of the school do an interview on him for a news article contest and he was discovered to have a secret affinity for girls manga of which he, along with Machiko and the girls read them together and start a book club. Too bad Mr. Yamagata didn't find anything to smear Kagoshima of being the THE BIG GAY and ruin his image.

Machiko Mai, a talented young woman fresh out of grad school, lands a job as the new science teacher at Arama Academy, a Japanese junior high. Unfortunately (for her), Machiko's students, lead by resident troublemaker Kenta, think it's utterly hilarious to grope her, flip her skirt, or find new and exciting ways to get rid of her clothing. Even worse, the very universe itself seems to think it's funny too – despite her best efforts, almost every adventure ends up with her at least slightly humiliated (i.e.: stripped to her bare ''pantsu'' if not completely naked). Two of her coworkers also take it upon themselves to pursue her. However, Machiko proves on multiple occasions she can easily turn the tables on anyone who messes with her or her students.

''Maicchingu Machiko Sensei'' is a series that could be best described as a loose compilation of {{Fanservice}} or {{Ecchi}}, starring a female schoolteacher and her pervy students. Based on the manga of the same name and animated by Studio Pierrot (which was animating mega-hit ''Manga/UruseiYatsura'' at the same time), it aired from [[TheEighties October 1981 to October 1983]] in Japan as a [[GettingCrapPastTheRadar kids']] [[ParentService show]]. Given its blatant sexual content while airing in a "family" timeslot, it naturally ran into trouble with the [[MoralGuardians PTA]] (who get [[TakeThat called out]] in the show at least once). Despite this, it managed to survive for 95 episodes. Later on, the series spawned half a dozen live-action movies.

* ForeignFanservice: Episode 23 has Judy, a friend of Machiko and a beautiful blonde (the only in all the show) american girl. She even perform a cheerleader show.

* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: In Episode 85, Machiko adopts a {{Bifauxnen}} look (similar to Oscar from ''Manga/RoseOfVersailles'') and the vice-principal develops a crush for her.

Creator/DiscotekMedia licensed the series for streaming on Crunchyroll in 2016, on which the first 45 episodes were posted in batches every few months through January 2017. Discotek itself posted the first five episodes on its [[https://www.youtube.com/user/Sjohnson20/videos official YouTube channel]] in June 2017. In mid-January 2018, they posted the other 70 episodes they had translated, only to pull ''all'' episodes less than a week later, not coincidentally at the same time Episodes 46-75 became available on Crunchyroll.

''Maicchingu Machiko Sensei'' is a series that could be best described as a loose compilation of {{Fanservice}} or {{Ecchi}}, starring a female schoolteacher and her pervy students. It aired in TheEighties in Japan as a [[GettingCrapPastTheRadar kids']] [[ParentService show]]. It had a lot of controversy with the MoralGuardians but somehow managed to survive.

Machiko Mai, a young and inexperienced teacher, is taking her first job as a teacher to a group of elementary students. Unfortunately (for her), Machiko's students, lead by resident troublemaker Kenta, think it's utterly hilarious to grope her, flip her skirt, or find new and exciting ways to get rid of her clothing. Even worse, the very universe itself seems to think it's funny too; despite her best efforts, almost every adventure ends up with her at least slightly humiliated (ie: stripped to her bare ''pantsu'' if not completely naked).

Add a cast of ninnies and perverts, a standard children's show plot, and you have one of the most infamous {{ecchi}} series in history.

Creator/DiscotekMedia licensed the series in 2016, and started uploading the series to its official [=YouTube=] [[https://www.youtube.com/user/Sjohnson20/videos channel]] in 2017. It is unknown whether Discotek will release it to DVD.

!!Tropes in the series include:

* ACupAngst: Tenko. In a episode, she discover to be the more flat-chested of the group and not like this. How? A {{chikan}} ignoring her preferring to harass her friends.
* ATasteOfTheirOwnMedicine: Few times, the girls strip Kenta's trio of their clothes as punishment for their pranks.

* AllClothUnravels: One gratuitous example was an episode in which no fanservice was provided until the last thirty seconds or so of the episode... where she goes ice-skating, her student pulls a thread and slides her across the ice, revealing her breasts.

* AllLoveIsUnrequited: Generally every crush is on-side.
* AllMenArePerverts: Is nearly impossible find a single male character that has not a pervert side, even if hidden.
* ArentYouGoingToRavishMe: Mild variant. Kenta frequently flips his classmates' skirts to embarrass them. [[FatGirl Token fat girl]] Maruko patiently awaits her turn, but when Kenta passes her by, she's so furious she pounds his head into the pavement.

* BecauseDestinySaysSo: It does not matter how, it does not matter where, it does not matter when -- somehow, someway, Machiko ''will'' lose her clothing, usually in the most humiliating way possible.

** Yamagata-sensei. He's head over heels in love with Machiko, but he's also a bit of a hornball and not above joining in with Kenta's schemes, only for them to backfire on Yamagata-sensei, spectacularly. He remains sympathetic because every so often, his schemes involve ''proposing''.
** The Vice-principal. To be the OnlySaneWoman in the show make her a target of many FaceFault gags.
* BuxomIsBetter: All like Machiko bust (also her female students are envy of this) and Kenta always greets her with a grope.
* CatchPhrase: "Maichchingu" ("Shame!"). Something she says after something happens to make her lose an article of clothing, get groped, or have her skirt flipped up. Which happens OnceAnEpisode (at least).
* CensorSteam: Completely averted, as in [[ValuesDissonance most shows of the era.]] ''Kids' show!''

** Instead, if a character going to be the victim of AmusingInjuries, probably will be Yamagata-sensei.
* TheChikan: An episode feauture a man harrass the young female student on a bus. Initially Kenta is mistaken for the culprit, but Machiko and Kenta set a trap for catching the real culprit.
* ChildProdigy: Hiroshi.
* ChildrenAreInnocent: [[AvertedTrope They really, really aren't.]] Some of them aren't up to speed on the {{ecchi}} parts of her situations, but all of her students at least think it's ''[[NakedPeopleAreFunny funny]].''
* ChivalrousPervert: Special note goes to Fukuoka-sensei, who is ''teaching elementary students nude figure drawing.''

* CircusEpisode: An episode feature Machiko takes part in a circus. Tamako, the vice principal is worried. The reason for this is because Machiko is performing in front of a large audience [[GenreSavvy which means that she will end up with her clothes torn off]]. Her warnings fall on deaf ears. Sure enough, a tiger happens to get lose and tear Machiko's costume off.

* CoveredInMud: Machiko ends up covered in muck from time to time, usually while losing articles of clothing. This was double subverted in the episode in which she helps her students fight against bullies by knocking them in a big mud pit (all ends covered in the mud).
* DangerouslyShortSkirt: Most of Machiko's outfit have this. For example, in the episode 2, she learn how use skateboard while wear her classic mini-skirt giving dozen of panty shot in the process.

* DirtyKid: All of the boys fit this trope but particularly Kenta, who is often the ring leader of the boys and works out several plots to grope, disrobe, or otherwise act pervy to the eponymous Miss Machiko (or their female classmates). While his comrades have some standard, Kenta live just to sexually harass every cute female in the show with Machiko as primary objective.

** Hiromi, who has a crush on Hiroshi, the more serious student of the class but is often [[ObliviousToLove ignored by him]].

* {{Ecchi}}: One of the first TV Ecchi series. Relatively tame by today's standards, it still manages to do some things that would simply not fly on Japanese TV today -- like showing animated nipples[[note]](Although it could be said the censoring isn't for any particularly moral reasons, but to create DVDBonusContent.)[[/note]]. ''In the opening credits.'' ''Anime/{{Doraemon}}'', which was shown around the same era, was the same way (kids' show, mild {{Fanservice}} -- and infamously, the rename added CensorSteam, amongst other things.
* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: In episode 85 Machiko adopt a {{Bifauxnen}} look (similar to Oscar from ''Manga/RoseOfVersailles'') and the vice-principal develop a crush for her.
* {{Fanservice}}: If you took out all of the fanservice, there would be very little of the series left.
** Although in some episodes, the fanservice honestly comes completely out of nowhere. For instance, at the end of one episode, a student [[AllClothUnravels pulls a thread on her sweater]] and exposes her in a skating rink, all within the last 15 seconds of the show. It was a typical cartoon up until that last moment.

* FatGirl: Maruko. Reason why, sometimes, is ignored by Kenta's pranks.
* {{Flanderization}}: Machiko, particularly in the manga, ''particularly'' in the "Box" series of bonus comics the author released. Machiko goes from being a somewhat naive, good natured young teacher who accidentally gets stripped and groped a lot to being easy to talk into stripping ''herself'', and who often [[InnocentFanserviceGirl doesn't even notice anything's wrong unless someone points it out to her,]] (and even then, she is more bemused than anything else).

* FreezeFrameBonus: One Website/YouTube user noticed that while a guy was trying to pull a perverted octopus off of Machicko, you could see detailed nipples (Well MORE detailed nipples considering the series had no qualms with them) when the swimsuit was almost completely off. * FunbagAirbag: Happened in the first episode when Kenta and friends steal the eponymous character's panties and try to run away, only for her to head them off around a corner.

* GagBoobs: One memorable instance of this involved Machiko breasts popping free from her shirt from a thief who had taken her as a hostage, which she used as a the start of a breast-and-karate-chop combo.

* GettingCrapPastTheRadar: It's a ''kids' show'' about a bunch of 8 year olds sexually harassing their teacher, who can't keep her clothes on for more than an hour or two at a time.

* GroinAttack: In episode 8, after using a Frisbee that's attracted to women's underwear on the girls all day, Machiko gets a hold of one that manages to fly toward's Kenta's underwear. Not lightly, it would seem.

* HotForTeacher: All the male student love Machiko, but Kenta is especially obsessed with her.
* HotTeacher: Machiko naturally. ''Everyone'' is attracted to her at least a little bit, which is why ''no one'' stops her students' games. That, and the very universe conspires to leave her denuded, so any such efforts would be futile.
* HulaAndLuaus: There is an episode in Hawaii, which included every stereotype... and topless beaches, for some reason. (There are no topless beaches in Hawai'i). Also, hula girls apparently wear grass skirts low enough to display part of their buttocks. Considering the nature of this series, it shouldn't be that surprising.

** Episode 10 involves Machiko going under hypnosis for some reason or other. Kenta attempts to mess with her, only to leave her with a mental GenderBender. She then goes to the men's room and ''uses the urinal.''
** Similarly, one of Manga!Kenta's favorite tricks is to convince a just-woken up Machiko, whom he has almost inevitably stripped while she was asleep that she was going to go do something she previously refused to do. Examples from the manga include teaching class in the school pool, wearing a NakedApron to her class's cultural festival MaidCafe, or tormenting Yamagata-sensei in some way.
* IdenticalStranger: An episode feature a woman identical to Machiko. The only difference is that she is red-haired and Machiko is a brunette.
* ImagineSpot: Machiko is, most of the times, the undisputed protagonist of the Kenta and Yamagata's fantasies.
* {{Jerkass}}: Kenta. He sometimes can be a JerkWithAHeartOfGold but, with all his pranks and sexual harrasment, he is far away from to be a NiceGuy.
* KarmaHoudini: The students rarely get punished for groping, flipping skirts, and undressing women getting away with their antics by mentioning how “boys will be boys”.
* KimonoFanservice: This trope played out in at least three episodes. One episode featured the main character acting in a historical drama, another was set during the Lunar New Year and the third took place during a festival. In keeping with the tradition of the anime, she lost her kimono every time.
* KiteRiding: In one episode, Kenta and the teacher Yamagata end up flying on a giant kite by accident and eventually fall into a sauna where the eponymous Ms. Machiko is bathing (of course).
* LaserGuidedKarma: In some episodes, Kenta and his friends get stripped by the female students, sometimes with Machiko herself helping out. In one episode, Machiko had Kenta's mother called after Kenta took pictures of her in the bath. His mother stripped him down and spanked him in front of an audience, which was PlayedForLaughs. And yes, no one bats an eye to that either so at least there's no DoubleStandard.
* LuminescentBlush: Every episode involves Machiko (and other girls) being placed in embarassing situations, which involves lots of blushing.

* MarilynManeuver: Kenta and his friends often put fans on the ground and other elaborate ways of getting Machiko (or other female students) skirt up. There's also her somewhat unique "Maicchingu" pose, which is a Japanese anime trope in an of itself.

* MegatonPunch: What happens when Yamagata-sensei happens upon Machiko at the exact wrong moment. Like, say, after she's woken up, but before she realized that Kenta has stripped her, ''again.''
* ModestyTowel: Subverted, as if she ever dons one it usually falls off.

* NakedFreakout: Considering that Machiko OncePerEpisode ends up naked, it has featured many subsequent freak outs. Although as Machiko is a [[GenkiGirl Genki]] PluckyGirl, her freakouts tend to be a cute pose, her saying [[CatchPhrase "maicchingu!"]] ("Oh, how embarrassing!"), and either smiling or [[MegatonPunch beating the everloving crap out of someone]].
* NakedPeopleAreFunny: A major point of the series. Be it slightly erotic fanservice or not, Machiko losing her clothing is ''hilarious.'' (And ''very'' {{moe}}.)

* NiceGirl: Machiko-sensei. Her reactions to Kenta's pranks? A {{moe}} pose, her catch phrase, and moving on.

* PantyShot: OncePerEpisode (at least). Provided by Machiko and her female students. Are so many that probably, before ''Anime/AgentAika'' aired years later, this was the anime with the major numer of panty shot.
* ParentService: Ooooh boy. The major reason it wasn't killed off. The demographics on the series viewership were absurdly skewed.

* ProWrestlingEpisode: This series had a few episodes centering around either pro wrestling, school-centered Olympic wrestling, or sumo wrestling.

** In yet another episode, her own students needed to raise money and talked her into stripping down to her underwear to take photos and send them into a magazine. Kenta tricks her into losing her bra and snaps a few photos of his own, [[OnceAnEpisode which is the sort of thing that happened a lot in that show.]]

* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: This is the entire concept of the show. The title character continually finds herself naked due to the actions of her perverted students, the occassional non-human, or the nature of the universe itself.
** Apply also to Madoka, Hiromi, Tenko and Maruko called by Kenta "the beauty of Arama School" (excluding Maruko) and sometimes victim of his pranks.

* {{Sarashi}}: She wears it once due to being in a festival as a drummer. Kenta takes it as an opportunity to get her on a bike before she can tighten her robe, and the resulting bouncing causes the sarashi to come undone. He doesn't stop the bike, leaving her bouncing around complaining and a large horde of shocked and happy neighborhood men looking on.

* SexySilhouette: Machiko in some shower and bath scenes; naturally she end up with show '''more''' than her simple silhouette.

** In a BaitAndSwitch moment, the vice Tamako is introduced in this mode.
* ShowerScene: Machiko frequently shower naked...even in the opening sequence!. Much like Shizuka from ''Anime/{{Doraemon}}'', even the kids join in on these, and CensorSteam is completely averted.
* SkinnyDipping: Machiko is forced in this situation since the opening where Kenta remove her costume while she swim in the swimming pool.
* SlipperySwimsuit: If you see Machiko-sensei (from Maicchingu Machiko Sensei) in a bathing suit, it will inevitably slip off.

* ThanksForTheMammary: Machiko gets groped by almost everyone, including animals. Kenta is the major offender; for him it is like say "Hello!".

* VaporWear: Her bra was stolen by a crow once, and her shirt was...[[NippleAndDimed different]].

** Episode 57 has a martial artist that fear women with big boobs. And not just Machiko, even her female students (while they jump with "bounce" effect) group cause him faint.

** {{Hypocrisy}}: Considering what Kenta does every day, he is not so different from the molester except for the age. Kenta defend himself explaining that when he grope someone, don't hide it. [[SarcasmMode Yes, is totally a different thing]].

* [[RodandReelRepurposed Rod-and-Reel Repurposed]]: An episode has three little kids use this to lift Machiko's skirt and distract her while one of them steals some food.
