Or worse, the MoodyMount might invoke the trope, maybe hoping to [[HorsingAround unseat the rider]] or just ForTheLulz.

A beautiful case of ThrowItIn: Anthony Stewart Head wasn't paying attention to what's going on so he actually did hit the tree, but the timing was so serendipitous to the scene that they kept the take.

Interestingly, this is TruthInTelevision -- fruit bats fly perfectly well, but they have a lot more trouble landing than most other bats. Although they rarely face-plant into the trunk the way Batty does.
