Contrast EarthAllAlong, which includes a reversal of this trope: human spacefarers encounter a strange planet with strange lifeforms. It turns out that a lot of time have passed, and this strange planet is actually earth. Thus, the visiting human protagonists are actually AliensFromEarth.
