Subverted on the stealing, however, as the guest thought the bed was included with the hotel's prices. Ironically, that's apparently how the brothers got the bed, as Paul thought the same thing about a different hotel.

* ''Series/CurbYourEnthusiasm'': After Larry gets into a feud with the maître d' at a sushi restaurant, he returns to fetch his umbrella he left behind. The maître d' notes that the umbrella has the name of a hotel written on it, and Larry admits that he "borrowed" it from the hotel while he was staying there. Rather than give it back, the maître d' insists that he's doing Larry a favor by returning it to the hotel himself, knowing that Larry wants to keep it.
