Note that Roman Catholic[[note]]More precisely Latin Rite priests, as like their Orthodox colleagues, Eastern Catholic priests are allowed to have gotten married prior to ordination, thus able to have children; the same applies to Latin rite priests with special dispensations or who were widowers upon studying for the priesthood. This does not appear much in media, though, because most Catholic priests are Latin Rite[[/note]] priests are supposed to be celibate (as opposed to most Protestant and Eastern Churches), so any examples from that denomination are going to be of necessity [[BastardBastard illegitimate]]. If the writer doesn't want to go down that route, one can either (a) substitute the Catholic for an Anglican (who are, in the words of the late Anglican Creator/RobinWilliams "Catholic Lite") or (b) substitute a priest for a deacon (married Catholic men are allowed to become deacons--indeed, most deacons who aren't in training for the priesthood are married--and deacons are held to a similar standard of conduct as priests).

They get better once their father realizes what's going on. Also helps that Rosemary West becomes their [[GoodStepmother stepmother]] by the end.

* Billy Ray in the song "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjydOI4MEIw Son of a Preacher Man]]" made immortal by Dusty Springfield, which focuses on a young romance with one of these. Tom Goss's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJStTqPmcMY gay reimagining]] of this song as a fundraiser for the Trevor Project is sadder and heartbreakingly beautiful. Son of an anti-gay preacher man sneaking around behind his daddy's back... with another boy... and then getting caught!

* ''Film/Requiem2021'': Evelyn's father is Minister Gilbert. She resists his demand for her to marry, and secretly sees another woman (this would have been viewed as gravely immoral in 1605 England, defintely against accepted Christian morals at the time).

* Music/ToriAmos. One of her songs, "Icicle", is about [[ADateWithRosiePalms masturbating]] while her father conducts a service downstairs.
