Yeah, i deleted all that because it was a synopsis of the \'\'entire story\'\' and spoiler the whole thing. I\'m sorry if it was a dick move, but i felt it needed to be done

Of course, [[UnspokenPlanGuarantee everything goes horribly wrong.]] The Hulk, understandably upset at this turn of events, damages his space ship, sending it off course and into a wormhole. He then crash lands on the alien planet Sakaar, which is very full of intelligent life, and none of it is friendly. Weakened by his trip through the "Great Portal", as the locals call it, the Hulk is implanted with an obedience disk, which forces him to obey commands and sent to the great arena to fight for his freedom. Hulk manages to defeat the monster thrown into the arena with him, but just when The Red King, ruler of the largest kingdom on Sakaar, is about to grant him his freedom, the Hulk(having just been informed of who the Red King is) decides he "finally knows who to smash", and attacks. He is thwarted by Caiera the Oldstrong, the Red King's [[TheDragon bodyguard]], who possesses super strength granted by her "Old Power", which relates to the seismic energy of the planet. The Red King decides to engage the Hulk in one on one combat(wearing PowerArmor), and nearly defeats him before the Hulk turns the tables; however, before the Hulk lands the finishing blow, Caiera knocks him out.

The Red King realizes that the Hulk's showing has earned him the favor of the crowd, and publicly executing him would turn the people against him; so instead, he is sent to The Maw, a gladiator training school. There he is forced to team with other gladiators: Miek, a [[InsectoidAliens "native"]]; [[NoNameGiven No Name]], a [[XMen Brood]] warrior; Elloe Kaifi and her bodyguard, Lavin Skee, a pair of Imperial traitors and rebel sympathizers; Hiroim the Shamed, an exiled WarriorMonk; and Korg, a stone-like alien refugee and former conquerer, stranded like the Hulk. The team is presented with an opportunity; by Sakaar law, if they win three matches in the arena, they are granted their freedom.

After their first match, the rebellion arrives to break Elloe out. The Hulk realizes it's a trap, and refuses to go, and the rest of the team (except Lavin, who is absent) stay with him. Elloe gets captured, refusing to stay with the Hulk when he tells the guards that she's "with us". The next day the remaining members go to the arena for their second match, and instead find a warship hovering above - turns out the Red King wants to just sidestep the entire problem of Hulk by ''blowing up the entire colosseum''. Hulk leaps into the air and intercepts the bomb, causing it to detonate above the crowds, before re-joining his team mates in a brawl against a cadre of Death's Head robot stormtroopers. Lavin perishes during the 'match', but in the aftermath the group's survivors take a sacred vow and become "Warbound".

Match three consists of a five-on-one match against [[SilverSurfer the Silver Savage]], another being to come through the Great Portal. Surfer actually resembles the Sakaarson of legend, which naturally provokes the crowds (and the rumours about whether Hulk is "really" the Sakaarson). Surfer dominates the match until the Warbound's teamwork manages to destroy his obedience disk, allowing an enraged Hulk to beat the off-guard Surfer into the dirt. Having won the match, the Warbound are confronted by Caiera; she presents them with a bunch of traitors - Elloe among them - and demands they kill them to gain freedom. The Warbound refuse, citing the oath they took to Lavin (while Hulk just accuses it all as being a "bad joke"). The Imperials just plan to make the Warbound comply via their obedience disks anyway, so they don't really care...

Until the Silver Surfer, having regain his senses and access to the Power Cosmic, [[OhCrap makes all the obedience disks in the entire area explode]]. Cue a mass slave revolt and exodus into the more wild areas of the region. The Surfer offers to take Hulk away from Sakaar, but he declines. The Warbound, with a rabble of liberated slaves in tow, are now on the run.

The Hulk is torn between the wishes of his friends — some of whom want to join [[LaResistance the rebellion]] against the Red King, while others want to run to avoid a long, bloody conflict that would likely get a lot of people killed in the crossfire — and his own desire to be alone. However, the Red King viewed their escape as a very real threat to his power, and feared that the Hulk may be a symbol for the people of the world to rally behind against him. Accordingly, he decided to hunt down the Hulk and try to kill him by whatever means necessary. Which, of course, doesn't end well.

After realizing that bombs won't work on the Hulk, the Red King decides to release the Spikes, alien spores that infect any living creature they come in contact with, creating a ZombieApocalypse that he aims at TheHulk. This act, and the many, many resulting deaths, as well as the Red King's continuing sanity slippage, turn Caiera against him, leading her to join with The Hulk and his Warbound. Eventually, the rebellion, lead by the Hulk, storm Crown City and defeat the Red King. In the wake of their victory, Hulk reluctantly takes up the crown due to popular demand, and, as Korg puts it, being "the only one strong enough" for the job. The Hulk's reign is marked by peacemaking and rebuilding, and all seems right with the world. Old grudges are put aside, and it looks like everyone will work together for a brighter tomorrow.

Then the world blows up. Or rather, the Hulk's ship blows up, killing a million people, including Caiera, who Hulk had taken as his wife. The other members of the Warbound manage to survive, along with a robot with a map of the whole universe in his brain, and a spaceship that can get them there. They leave it to the Hulk to decide [[WorldWarHulk where they will go]].

The storyline is very popular among Hulk fans as it gives the green giant some very real character development for the first time in years, where as previously the focus had been on Bruce Banner(or Banner in the Hulk's body). The writing, richly developed setting, cast of new yet familiar characters, and beautiful artwork all combined to make this one of the most praised Hulk storylines of all time. Its also notable that the main point of this story was to get the Hulk out of the picture during the ComicBooks/CivilWar CrisisCrossover, which kept the Hulk away from a storyline most considered to be SoBadItsHorrible. Opinions are divided on the sequal, ''WorldWarHulk'', however.

''Planet Hulk'' is a MarvelComics storyline that ran through 2006, written by GregPak, with Carlo Pagulayan, Jeffrey Huet, and Chris Sotomayer penciling, inking, and coloring respectively.

The storyline centers around TheHulk, naturally, as he is sent into space by [[IronMan Tony Stark]], [[FantasticFour Reed Richards]], DoctorStrange, and Black Bolt. After a fight with the Thing left Las Vegas in ruins and about two dozen dead(later retconned), it was decided that he was two dangerous for Earth, and that they would send him to a peaceful planet with no intelligent life so he couldn't hurt anyone, and finally [[CarefulWhatYouWishFor get his wish of being left alone.]]

Of course, [[UnspokenPlanGuarentee everything goes horribly wrong.]] The Hulk, understandably upset at this turn of events, damages his space ship, sending it off course and into a wormhole.

The team is presented with an oppertunity; by Sakaar law, if they win three matches in the arena, they are granted their freedom.

After their first match, the rebellion arrives to break Elloe out. The Hulk realizes it's a trap, and refuses to go, and the rest of the team(except Lavin, who is absent) stay with him. Elloe gets captured, refusing to stay with the Hulk when he tells the guards that she's "with us". The next day the remaining members go to the arena for their second match, and instead find an air ship hovering above

''Planet Hulk'' is a MarvelComics storyline that ran through 2006, written by GregPak, Greg Pak, with Carlo Pagulayan, Jeffrey Huet, and Chris Sotomayer penciling, inking, and coloring respectively.

The storyline centers around TheHulk, naturally, as he is sent into space by [[IronMan Tony Stark]], [[FantasticFour Reed Richards]], DoctorStrange, and Black Bolt. After a fight with the Thing left Las Vegas in ruins and about two dozen dead(later retconned), it was decided that he was two dangerous for Earth, and that they would send him to a peaceful planet with no intelligent life so he couldn't hurt anyone, and finally [[CarefulWhatYouWishFor [[BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor get his wish of being left alone.]]

Of course, [[UnspokenPlanGuarentee [[UnspokenPlanGuarantee everything goes horribly wrong.]] The Hulk, understandably upset at this turn of events, damages his space ship, sending it off course and into a wormhole. Planet Hulk was later adapted into an animated film. The film was very condensed, changing several aspects of the story and removing a few characters completely, but is still considered one of the better Marvel Comics animated adaptations, recieving considerabl critical praise. It's also noteable for being one of the more violent Marvel movies, depicting blood and fairly graphic deaths.

* TearJerker: Several; Miek having to kill the last Native queen because she's infected by the spikes, the ashes of a girl Caiera was craddling disolving in her arms, Caiera's own ashes disolving in Hulk's after the shuttle explodes.

* TheCameo: ''Several'' of Marvel's "cosmic" characters cameo in this movie; Adam Warlock, Gamora, Pip the Troll, a skrull, and Grandmaster. Notably, Grandmaster shows up in the shadows behind the Red King as he watches the Hulk's first fight in the arena, suggesting more may be at play here.
* NotMyLifeToTake: Hulk chooses to spare the Red King's life, instead letting Caiera kill him with a spike bug.

* FantasticRacism: The three main races on Sakaar, the Imperials, the Shadows, and the Natives have varying degrees of prejudice between them, mostly between Imperials and Natives, though Imperials who believe they're an offshoot of the Shadow species tend to think they're superior due to being further involved.

** Brood is TheSmartGuy largely based on having a dangerous amount of GenreSavvy.
